there was a recent court decision where the racing industry will get something like 5% of the turnover of all racing betting
the nrl is investigating the impact on this for us as it could mean $15 million pa for us, as we have the highest betting turnover of all the footy codes
good on souths for doing this, like penrith getting a big deal for their stadium
does make crowe look like a hypocrite after his comments that souths were anti gambling but anything that makes his club stronger, good on him
betting sponsorship is a big growth centre for our game
we should maximise it
