| Looking at the RFU they have already annouced all the stadia they will be playing in quite sometime ago for the 2015 world cup. On that, where do you think we should have games (group games, quarters, semi and final) and were do you think we will actually have them?
I think the final, no matter what needs to be in London. It can get the media exposure it deserves down there even if its not at wembley. Maybe the emirates as it holds 60,000?
As for the semi's I think Elland Road, Bramall Lane and City of Manchester would be great locations with Wigan and Hull holding the double header quarter finals and club stadia such as leigh, saints's new ground, cas's new ground, widnes, warrington and wrexham holding the group stage games.
What does everyone think?

| Is it just England or is France getting some games?
Group games: Hull (KC), Wigan, Hudds, Leeds (Headingly),Doncaster, Wrexham, Perpignan, Toulouse
Semis: Manchester & Elland Road
Final: Wembley
Lets have some faith in our sport for a change and really push with cheap tickets, free jnrs, club deals etc to fill the grounds. Ground criteria should be min 15K for group games and 30K for semis

Tie some group games together as double headers and it may be worth using those type of stadia.

Doubt wether the football clubs will allow either Wigan or Hull to be used as it will be during the football season. Especially Wigan after the criticisms of their pitch. The new Saints ground will be a certainty.

| The problem with Wembley for the final is that as the match will almost certainly be on Sky, they'd insist on an evening ko which would make it difficult (if not impossible) for most British supporters to get to the game.

hull city won't have a say in wether they will allow rugby league to be played, if they continue losing money at the rate they are now they will be in the lower leagues by 2013, the stadium management company (smc) decides what can and can't be played at the kc and adam pearson has already said that he wants international rugby league back in hull asap

Then one of the stipulations the RLIF has to make in any TV rights deal is that the final will be on a Saturday afternoon. Hell I'd even sell the rights to the final seperate and at a chepaer rate to the BCC, get it on FTA, get 70K down to London for a Saturday alvo and show the UK what RL is all about!

| Hedingley is a semi derelict stadium with part of one stand in a condemed state and a pitch that will probably be like a sandpit It should not be used for RL world cup games in its current state.

So you need a 15k stadium for papua new guinea vs tonga? Leigh or Widnes should be fine and they hold 12k
Semis should be at DW/KC/Galpharm
Final should be in london the Ideal location being the Emirates, Wembley is too big

Its worse than Hull FC's/Wigans/Warrington/Widnes/Hudds and soon Saints and Salford's new grounds, poor effort by the best supported, most successful and highest income club
Its away end is the worst in the league, equal to Castlefords, HKR

| Given that it will be an Australia v NZ final again I think the idea of holding it in London makes sense.
Twickenham stoop would be ideal. They managed to fit us all in last time.

Lets assume the final will be the usual Australia v NZ affair.
Twickenham Stoop would be ideal.
Checks all the right boxes for the expat community in London (apart from the lack of VB)
Not many British fans would bother going unless England made the final.
Twickenham (the big place...HQ as its known) would never come close to selling out an RL final sadly

| Following the successes of past tournaments...
The big gates in 1995/2000 mean Wembley opening fixture (England vs Australia) - one game in london and the advanced sales should help it be the biggest crowd
following 2008 every game must be held at a Rugby League ground (the 10 i went to where anyway) so West Yorkshire, Humberside, Lancashire and thats it (KC, galpharm, headingley, wigan, leigh, HJ, widnes and new grounds at Cas/Wakefield/saints/salford if ready) - if Wrexham is still going well then Wales can play their group games there
Old Trafford for the final - it has to be in the heartlands and this is the best stadium up here
semis at Hull and Huddersfield
I dont think there should be games in france and definitely not in scotland or ireland
no double headers and no more than 2 games per day

| France should play their home games in Catalunia. Bigger crowds, more competitive. Wales in Wrexham. Rest of the games in England. I'd go Wembley as an opener, you're right. England v Australia. Then the final at Olympic Stadium or maybe Anfield/Goodison or Elland Road?

In the 'failed' world cup 2000 NZ played Australia in the final and there were 46000 on if I remember. So why the stoop barry? Because you're wrong....again.

People seem to be suggesting the final is played in London.
There is a very high chance of it being an Aus v NZ final.
London is full of antips.
The Stoop would do the job nicely.
I seriously can't see England making the final. I personally would like it if they did because it would be a real shot in the arm for the international game.... but realistically I think hell will freeze over before that happens.
