Phil Clarke talking about the skill factor and accuracy just makes a mockery of his knowledge of the game. It wasn't either of those things and had the officials been competent it would have been disallowed. The fact that the officials are awfull doesn't make Leeds skill factor better.

There was at least some justification for the Nero no try in that he clearly makes contact with Donald in the air, however small.

There waas no justification for the McGuire no-try, for me he got the ball down, even if he didn't the ball clearly goes backwards and its a try for JJB.

It was a shocking decision. It seems we're looking for any excuse to punish good attack and reward poor defence. The complete opposite in the NRL.

IMO it was the correct decision, the camera from the back showed the ball bounce in his attempt to put it down, plus in normal speed you could tell it was never a try...
