I posted too late!
I didn't think Tuquiri would make it. Bench at a pinch. Smith will have to prove his fitness by the weekend. I just can't see him doing it. Elbow injuries are pretty nasty things

Yeah he has so many other worthwhile games to play in this year.
I am sure he won't want to play. Not. As we have seen with the history of Queensland football, the attitude of the player (a la Gilly) is the determining factor.
I'd start checking out the rental market.
Even leaving that aside, to not pick him in the side would have been ludicrous.

If Smith misses out Qld will really struggle. Not a huge fan of Dave Taylor myself. For such a big (and actually mobile) guy he sometimes looks impossible to tackle and the next minute gets knocked down quite easily by a halfback. Basically similar issues to Carl Webb.
