sorry mint ball but its the 2nd test , terry was suspended in November for a short while last year (speculation he was fighting) then like with hock the RFL / and others can ban him only after the 2nd test

The Sky News report that Lee Tucker FC Fan 2006 linked to earlier can be interpreted no differently.

Even if it were a second test, the provisional nature of the suspension (not a ban) does not mean that the case is closed or that final judgement on it has been passed.

Thus my earlier comments stand.

The cough medicine thing might sound funny to some people, but it is accurate to say that certain medicines that you can easily buy over the counter, for such common ailments as colds (and coughs) can put you over the limit for certain substances.

That is one reason why the list of banned substances is frequently daft and often really quite arbitary.

In any other walk of life we might actually say: 'innocent until [uproven[/u guilty'. This applies here too.

It might be the long-term course of hormones he's been taking to reduce the water retention in his neck.

i understand what you are saying and realize that no punishment as been dished out yet but this is a little more complex than his usual appearances before the beek . i was just pointing out that this is his 2nd test. remember terry was was audacious enough to sue a paper with regards misquoting him as a drug cheat do you think sky sports and the rest would ?

even if its a mistake a player with international experience will/should know what he can take. My green inhaler has a disclaimer on the pack warning that it is banned by sport UK

Feel sorry for Wakey if true.

I feel sorry for the club. They've had a really difficult few years with the losses off Adam Watene and Leon Walker and now Newton has disgraced himself and caused more strike for Wakefield. If he is found guilty he should clear off out of our game, there is no place for people like him in rugby league.

innocent until proven guilty, and i will treat him as such, mountains out of mole hills, could be a flu pill or simular etc, but he's still getting hung on some boards,

question i need answering, did the club know in November that he failed his test, and if so yes then why have they been playing him, this leads me to the conclusion that they knew and think he's done nothing wrong and he took something by accident, and the provisional ban is just procedure until proof either way
