if he can control his passion he will go a long way, but I have seen a few names disappear with the wrong attitude, good luck to him down under it will be a real test

he'll be a target whatever as a young front rower if he gets in super league. fair play to the lad, he's got it spot on, surely you want your prop doing as much damage as possible. harness that attitude in the right way and he'll go far!

I don't know whether I'm more made up for the four lads who have made it into the GB Squad having played so little rugby league or the fact the write up was in the paper even though he said it was better than union.

Either way I'm happy.

I've seen the lad a few times last season in the NYL. One of the stand out forwards. Good article.

No disrespect to Celtic Crusaders under 18's achievement, but it should be remember that they're playing amatuer teams who have had their best players plucked away to play Academy rugby proffesionally. People seem to think they have been world beaters.

And at the risk of linking two threads, the exact opposite of two high profile Saints players recently who used their media access to run down the RFL.

Indeed, and I'm sure one of those jokers got central funds from the RFL to stop him switching to Union back in the day, only to not be bothered about playing for his country when the opportunity arose. Small town heroes.
