The Catalans are worrying me. Their progress to this point has been solid and last season was great for them. This season should have cemented their position as a strong Super League outfit and seen them really grow some roots in France.

Instead they are going to win no more than one or two games and are easy beats, 3rd bottom above Salford and Celtic will be a success for them.

Such a disappointment.

That result should kick-start Bradford's season but a shocking start to the year from Les Cats.

Catalans are awful. Celtic Salford and the Catalans will be lucky to win more than a handful of games between them.

Why are they so bad though? They seemed so solid last season.

Losing their coach has got to be a major factor in the poor form shown

What coaching credentials did Kevin Walters have when he got the job?

Surely a club who had developed so much last year, based in such a great part of the world should have been able to get a top class coach after Potter left?

Word on the street is that Catalans lost four of their first five games last year. Suppose you were spouting the same rubbish at this point last year too. Just before they knocked Saints off in Round 6 then went on to finish 3rd.

They had an easy fixture list last year though and over achieved in my view. But whether you agree with that or not its a hell of a job to follow up what Mick Potter did at Catalans.

I agree but to say Celtic, Salford and Catalans will only win a handful of games between them is a bit patronising. The Dragons have made a bad start but have a good squad. They will still end up in the 8 IMO.

I disagree, Catalan looked a good side to me last week and when they cut out the ill discipline they will beat alot more sides. They have plenty of skill and ability coupled with some big forwards and a decent offload game.

I see no reason why they can't beat anyone in the league on their day. With players such as Bird, Mogg and Bosc in their side they can score points for sure.

In todays game they had four tries disallowed! Catalan in my opinion have a decent shout of making the top 8.
