| last year we flew out of the blocks for this game and it cost us big time mid season although we,of course ,came good in the end.
this time i sense we are treating it as another game and haven't really tried to peak for the game.for that reason i think it will be close but manly to edge it.
i will be there though cheering on the boys regardless |

After seeing leeds on friday i gotta say Manly. Leeds were poor (against KR) and the score flattered them after a wrong video ref decision totally changed the game.

Don't really care who wins, although the predictions of others has a real air of familiarity to seasons past.
The ocker teams are clearly going to be better, so logically, they'll win. But they never do, because its a friendly to them and a chance to "prove something" to SL teams.
I wouldn't write leeds off just yet.

See i thought about today, Leeds havent been impressive in 3 games so far,
Manly play 40 minutes with a full squad out and beat you 34-6, albeit you took some guys off
I think Manly by quite a lot, They will have too much quality out wide for Leeds With Lyon and Utai and i am a big fan of Matt Orford

Dam how do i argue with that.....
Oh ill cover myself by saying when stevo was talking i had just poped to the toilet or was at the bar so my opinion in no way is the same as his.  icon_smile.gif
All i am saying is that the people who i was with (except one leeds fan who was goading us), most were nutural and we thought it was a Hull KR try. Anyway this is for another thread. Fact is video ref gave the decision thats it.
I still think manly will win and that they are worth a bet getting 2 start but will not back them because i want leeds to win just so we can hear the aussies say "we dont care about the WCC anyway". Like most years.
Well i say "we don't care about the world cup anyway!!!!" "but new zealand do".
