We don’t know if GH would take the same course of action as Carter if he was in the same position right now. I do know GH has had plenty of critics from opposition fans throughout his time for his views, actions and opinions to the point he’s almost become a pantomime villain for some. Some of that is fair game, sometimes it’s overexaggerated. Whilst you personally may respect him you can’t say that’s true for many fans from other clubs who see him as manipulative and dodgy in nearly every issue.

But also the same can be said of Leeds’ fans towards him, it’s far from an “GH is always right” view at Headingley or that they don’t see through him working things Leeds way, it’s one of the reasons he has certain nicknames even amongst Leeds fans.

Depends which rumour you believe, although the one about a 'rent holiday' until the Bulls got back on their feet could make the actual amount pretty irrelevant.

That will be because Hudgell and Carter were mentioned in the trade press last week - with Mr Chalmers giving an opinion,which was printed,on Saturday.

But Carter didn’t mind having a public spat when Bradford were appealing their points deduction in 2014 even claiming he’d quit Rugby League altogether if Bradford were successful and going public with his criticisms of other clubs agreeing to and then backing out of reserve teams this off season and saying teams shouldn’t be allowed marquee signings.

And what was wrong with those rants, thought he was correct on both counts.

On the Bradford points deduction he was seeking to ensure fair treatment and the RFL sticking to their rules - I am sure you would advocate that as being reasonable

Chalmers has made personal attacks on carter and hudgell which is somewhat different and he does not appear to be in full possession of the facts.

Chalmers has made this personal with his comments. Carters were general comments around the other two issues. There is a difference

On GH, I obviously don't follow the every day in and outs of your club, so wouldn't know all the details as a Leeds fan would & I know other teams like to have a go about certain things. But from what I see and hear from him, he's a very passionate RL man, who knows his stuff and is generally in it for the good of the game & he's obviously worked wonders at Leeds. Can't say any more than that really but just to add I don't know many Trinity fans who generally don't like GH either.

Exactly, Chalmers has been very public about talking crap about him and our Club, the guys acts unprofessionally, to say the least IMO with his little T&A articles. As I've said before why doesn't he get a pair and get in touch with Carter about this instead of rabble-rousing?

You personally may like GH, but that sentence above is laughable. GH is disliked by most clubs and Wakey fans are at the top of that list.

I don't agree with that.
GH has done a lot of good in the game. I have never heard his name even mentioned at a game or with my friends in a particularly bad way.
He's just vocal on his opinions so draws opinion the other way.
