No Danny Mcguire is on a different level in terms of both quality and consistency to Paul Cooke.

Danny Mcguire is a very very good player who is massively under-rated by those who know nothing of RL and like to have a snipe at Leeds,

When your boy plays well against the Aussies I'll call him very good, to date he has got nowhere near in fact he's been made to look lightweight. It's not a snipe at Leeds it's just how it is, put McGuire in a bottom six team and he would hardly get noticed.

Paul Cooke the character has always been bigger than the player. He is a good player but thats about it, just good. Had two brilliant seasons for Hull but thats about it. Has never come near international honours and would not have a six page thread on here about him if it was not for his character, not his rugby ability

its funny you should pick those teams out because apart from against hull those are exactly the teams most rovers fans would say cookie had his best games against, salford this year, quins away last year and salford away the first year! It's the likes of wigan, leeds, warrington, saints, hudds etc, against which he has done nothing in a red and white shirt.
