I thought that was really poor from St Helens. They (both the team and a section of the fans) ended up acting like a bunch of spoilt brats not getting their own way. I don’t know if it was tactical or just players losing their heads but there was a lot of dirty play tonight.

If there's one thing that can be said for Saints fans it's that they're gracious in defeat...

After rugby league’s greatest ever team beating the best the nrl had to offer in their own back yard, this season should have been a celebration. Instead it’s a write off. For all the good st Helen’s did in raising the profile whilst Wakefield couldn’t even get a playable pitch which made our game a laughing stock, the refs have made it even worse. If your team wins SL this year, don’t be an embarrassment and celebrate it. You only won because the RFL didn’t want St Helen’s to win it
