So what happened at the end of the game between Rowley and Purtill? On TV, it looked like Rowley said something to his opposite number that caused a ruckus?

I struggle to believe that Purtill could have offended Paul Rowley - he (KP) is a very mild-mannered, inoffensive bloke. Maybe it was something that had happened earlier, with another member of Leigh coaching staff that caused the problem?

There is a lot of bad feeling surrounding Rowley's departure (along with about half our squad) but Leigh's current squad/most of the coaching staff, are not part of that history. It really is time that any 'previous' is well and truly consigned to history. We and Toronto should be concentrating on how we can upset the applecart in the Middle 8's - if we actually qualify for them!!

If this would have happened to one of Sky’s favourites it would be headline news.

Hypothetical; Wane and Tomkins don’t announce they’re leaving Wigan until the weeks running up to next season leaving Wigan with no coach or star player. They then both turn up at Catalans along with Bateman, Escare, Gildart and Burgess. Could you imagine the furore?

I do get what you are saying and like many Leigh fans, I would be upset and wanting said team to fail at every turn.
However, the way that the "Leigh Mafia" have hijacked every thread hasn't made them too many friends and much of the negative stuff has just been ridiculous and any balance to the argument disappeared long ago.

It does seem to have gone a little quiet after the result at the weekend but, Leigh still have plenty to play for.

hey dude, did you enjoy your thrashing by warrington wolves (not a rubbish wolfpack) in the challenge cup. i did, best comedy programme i've seen all year, your team of nrl & ex leigh players were pathetic. xx

As stated previously, you have to get over your Toronto infatuation and focus on your club/team.
Worry less about TWP playing Warrington and more on your Club, which has lost twice to Toronto and probably won't even make the middle 8's.

Check the Championship stats and observe who is in FIRST PLACE! We easily outplayed Warrington in the first half and could easily have done so if we wished in the second except for the ref who sent off so many that we were playing 3 short....even Leigh would have been able to run a try in on us with that advantage.
We will learn from our errors and we will play them again....but that is none of your concern.
