Delighted for Tom Johnstone on his return from injury. Also great for Rocky Hampshire to bag his first try. Very surprised at Saints Cas score, thought Saints would win but sounds like the Cas of old. Salford result not surprising.

Vastman dislikes Cas more than most. For him to label you a turd is just for starters.

Oh I know I saw that thread he started calling Cas fans arrogant based on a post he saw on the Cas forum even though in reality he added comments that weren't originally in it that made them sound arrogant.

I agree. None the less I hope he doesn't card everyone for petty stuff like that. Didn't matter a jot tonight but if that game had been as tight as many were thinking it might be it could easily have been ruined.

Zak is a great player, especially defensively, but Leeds managed to replace him with a couple of academy players, so I dont buy that Powell cant either coach a player he already has to organise a defence or buy a player who already knows how.

You seem to have a real downer on Cas for some reason. Even after you saw your club take them down when it mattered last season, you're still having little digs.

You then have to resort to an elitist attitude regarding players from other clubs.

I agree, it's players like him who get people through the turnstiles, people tuning in to watch and most importantly get kids playing the sport. That was probably my favourite individual performance in Super League for the last 3 or 4 years.

he was the player that gave them that bit extra last season, looking at roberts and eden as their fullback options, its clear they are a lot weaker at that position and teams will target them!

Jesus Christ you'd think no one ever gave Leeds fans some stick when they lost games and were struggling 2016.

I've been saying this since last year's grand final. Golding is far superior at full back then anything we can put there. Nial Evalds would be on my list too but why would salford sell him .

I can see 2 things stopping any sort of loan happening
1- Leeds believing that Cas would not make the top 4 without him, therefore not wanting to strengthen a rival
2- Cas being unwilling to take him on loan for a month at a time, knowing they likely wouldn't have him for the 8s (no way would we let him go for the full season unless you gave us something in return)

So if Leeds believe that Cas will get top 4 anyway and Cas are happy to get a player in temporarily (possibly whilst scouting for longer term options), then we may well see a deal happen

Why not take Jowitt from Wakefield on loan he's better than both of those.
