You could say so, however, in his 18 games this year, Galloway has averaged 22 tackles and 13 hit ups for an average of 115 meters..... Far better stats than Manu, and those numbers are still pretty good going for a limited minutes prop - the sort of stats I'd expect Leeds will be hoping to get from him, so horses for courses for Leeds..... I'd guess for the money Hull will be paying Manu, they'd expect more than his current averages - their fans clearly expect some superstar... The Hull fans jus need to realise they've not signed the version of Manu that looked great outside Cronk, Smith and Slater, they've signed the expensive dud who's done nothing at Penrith without the 'big 3' - his stock has declined massively - so imagine how much worse he might look in a Hull team that will provide even less talent support than the Panthers.

Pritchard should be a good signing for Hull if he stays fit and is hungry for it, but I stand by my comment; Manu is a dud!

So the first use of the marquee rule is not to actually sign a marquee player but just to be able to spend over the cap. Who'd have thought it?

It's funny that you've picked out Manu for criticism over all the players listed on the fist page. Perhaps it's a coincidence that it's a player Leeds were after and were turned down?

I don't think many (maybe the odd few) are getting carried away with the Manu signing, Pritchard is the one were most excited about, but we're very happy with our recruitment as a whole.

The HDM editor is a Hull FC fan. Most likely made it up that Leeds etc and no doubt countless NRL clubs were after the player his team have signed. Big them up and makes it look like the said player has been signed amidst tough competition.

Yes, imagine the memo the HDM editor sends to their reporters, "listen guys, any Hull FC signings, make sure you link them with some top clubs to make them look better".

Have a look through my posts 'mate' and you'll find I just say it as I see it, infact I'm pretty sure I gave this opinion on Manu a while ago on the Leeds board when discussing potential signings - it doesn't matter what club Manu would have signed for, he'd still be a dud!

Care to provide any stats or examples that would show anything other than Manu being a dud since he left the storm?

I haven't disagreed with you, just commented that of all the players coming to SL, you've picked him out for a kick in.

Regarding signings, I'm happy with Hulls as a whole. I don't claim to know how much any of them are earning, and I'll wait until I see them put on a black and white shirt before getting too excited or labelling any of them 'duds'.

Scott Taylor and frank Pritchard would get in the 17 of any team in super league . 3 very good signings even without my black n white specs on

You forgot to include the season's stats for Manu

Only reason I've commented on Manu is because he's a recent signing and fairly high profile - and people (Hull fans mainly) are way way over estimating his value.

It's fair to assume he'll be on a fair wedge (some FC fans think he'll be on the marquee salary), certainly more than I'd think he'd be worth....

Taylor wouldn't get in the first choice 17 of at least 4 or 5 sides. Decent player and good signing but he's not some sort of superstar just because he's now signed for hull fc

I've noticed the French development scheme is coming on nicely as well with the information currently posted.

I dont mind people saying Manu is a dud, he hasn't had a great couple of seasons, they may be right. Taylor not getting in 4 or 5 teams however is hilarious. Hes in the top 10 props in the comp without trying.

He's not even in the top 10 for metre made, carries, or tackles for Props in SL this year so claims that he's in the top 10 props in the comp is a little wide of the mark.
