Not in overall percentages. Only in percentages for the London team, but in combined attendances for the league it will have less of an impact.

As with all statistics, it depends who's doing the maths. Combine the crowds then work out the percentages = small effect. Work out the percentages then combine those = massive difference.

I am referring to the fact that you never gave the previous 5 years' attendances last season, but now you suddenly are in a desperate attempt to prove that this years crowds are not as good as they seem.

The London v Salford crowd included around 400 Salford fans. If we'd have taken our usual 150 there then the crowd would have been sub-1000. Really sad to London in such a state at present.

Decent ground and set up for anyone heading down this year though.

- Interesting to see Featherstone's marquee fixture scoring a crowd of (only) 2,583. I will assume this is the number of fans they will be expecting to draw if/when they make the Super League...

- London's crowd of a meagre 1,200 was (according to reports) supplemented by over 400 Salford fans. Quite a worry for the season ahead.

- It will be interesting to see whether or not Wakefield's crowds will pick up once the stadium returns to full capacity. Their first home game of the season saw an almost 50% (not 100%

Are you sure the stats are being done right. If the crowd was 10,000 last year and this year it's 5,000, surely that's a 50% drop? A 100% drop would imply the crowd was zero in year 2.

A drop of 100% would be zero. By my reckoning the drop was 49.9%.

Good attendance at Huddersfield though, perhaps it's finally sunk in they've got a decent team.

(4,049-8,084)/4,049 = -99.65%

Should be dividing by 2013 attendance instead to get the percentage difference between 2013 to 2014:

Last years capacity was 12,000 and had an attendance of 8,084 that was at roughly 70% of capacity.

A convuluted way of looking at it, but percentage-wise, the attendance has actually increased!

On the London forum. Nice cheap coffee, friendly staff, tidy ground....all of which mean nothing to the club as 100% of the match-day revenue goes to the Landlord, who is also being paid rent by the club AND being given a marketing budget by the RFL to attract more fans WHICH HE GETS THE REVENUE FROM!

There are so many great memories of following London, a great many of which you have witnessed (in your Leeds shirt) and there's not a snowballs chance in hell that getting thumped by 26 points at home by a team that "might" make the 8 in front of the 2nd lowest gate for a SL game in London ever is one of them.......

Every fixture last year, you compared only to the previous years figure. Why have you ->NOW<- suddenly decided to compare the individual fixtures to the previous five years? Is it that the increased crowds do not as much fit your agenda? Give me a break - you only publish the statistics that suit you. That is why I am choosing only to compare to last year, rather than picking and choosing the historical context based on whether or not it fits my argument.
