If it's open to interpretation it's a pretence to allowing the referre to ''interpret'' any lesser evil or use the report option.

I had my playing days ended by a cheap shot merchant ( came in late after I had been tackled so I think i have the right to have an opinion on this), Compressed spine (15 years later I still have back trouble because of it) and all for a cheap and late hit whilst I was actually on the ground, by a thug who knew I couldn't defend myself from the hit due to my body position so don't be a turd and say it is brave and noble, it isn't. Being hit and nailed hard in a fair manner is acceptable, hitting someone late and cowardly is another.

Samoa v Fiji ill be a fair game to decide who is currently the 4th best team in the world. I think the right two sides have made it through.

Where was the clear sending off tonight ??? Leave the players on the pitch and deal with it after the game unless it's a clear cut incident.... That's the way the game should be played.

Listen, I'm normally the first asking for a return for a bit of biff and crunching tackles that SL seems to lack these days, but some of those hits in the first half were shocking.

For what it's worth, there was a similar outcry on here after the Fiji Ireland game but I personally didn't think that compared, the Fijians were just hard, Samoa were thuggish.

Too right. I thought tackle from behind was terrible, very late and could have resulted in a nasty injury.

Of course i did, what I didn't reckon on was a world class pr1ck hitting me through the shoulder whilst I was on my haunches regaining my feet after the tackle had been complete. His captain got him off the pitch before the place erupted (it was a friendly see?) and as there had been no malice but a good and hard and fair game to that point why would I expect not be hit in such a p155 poor manner?

Every time you play the there is a chance of injury, that is what makes it such a tough sport to play but what you shouldn't expect is to be attacked in by a C.u.nT on the pitch.

As alluded to earlier, is Ryan Bailey a hard but fair player? No he isn't , he is capable of cheap shots, as is Westwood (cowardly punching in the Grand Final) as is Hock or all the other players who like to be thuggish etc. When Sean Long got belted by Willie Mason in the Tri Nations should Mason have stayed on the field because "it's a mans game, played by men" or would it have been right to send him off there and then.

Ironically, in days gone by Red cards were shown, it is only now in the SL era that it seems to be absolutely the last thing to do. I don't care about 17 v 17, if a player wants to commit an offence that is a red card then it should be so. I think if Perenara would have used the Yellow after the second hit tonight we wouldn't have got the third hit and if we did and he used a red who wouldn've argued wit his refereeing? It was his inability to put an on the spot sanction in place that cause so much annoyance.

Sorry but I loved that, shame it ran away at the end but I really did enjoy the rough physical stuff, bit like going back to the eighties.
I've watched most games now and the team I have a soft spot has been the Samoans, think I'll even get a Samoan jersey, could anyone point me to a place I could purchase one?
