Perhaps we could have the M62 Cruisers - we could merge loads of clubs then, and give franchises out all over the place, to such hotbeds of RL as the Westcountry Pirates, based in Westward Ho! in Devon, the Flatlanders (Ipswich and Norwich area) and the scottish Western Isles and so onYou know it makes sense!

To be honest probably not, as long as they were still their own clubs.

You could still have a home dressing room each and home and away stands, so why not.
It would only work for very geographically close clubs though, most home fans wouldn't want to travel more than 2 miles at the absolute max to get to a home match.

20 minute walk if you really stroll, 10 if you get a shift on and 2hrs if you make a pub crawl out of it

The Broncos had to move grounds from Greenwich in East London to Brentford in West London - approx 2 hours travel time away from their Greenwich core support and get pilloried regularly for our inability to build up crowds. So if a Northern club moved just 2 miles further away from their support base it wouldnt work.

Well exactly! What chance do London Supporters have for continued support. If they moved Leeds (I picked them as they have the biggest attendance) to Bradford, how many home fans would go every match? 5k? if that.

If you are forced to move again , dropping down a level might be the best option for you

Not sure if thats true, but in the case of the Hull club's, our grounds are nearly 6 miles apart, both would probably have to relocate to share.

What is the accepted or official demarcation line for SL attendance below which everything else is unacceptable.

Or is this some imaginary figure you have in your mind.

Take a look at what really matters -the league table and maybe reconsider your criteria for SL status.

Lets get rid of Warrington because they are bottom of the fair play league. Surely we only want teams that abide by the rules. They are NL standard in behavioral terms.

Stick with your village fete mentality. Anything more than that will blow your brain

I don't know what constitutes "core support" but I've come across Charlton Athletic fans who came along due to deals the club had in place with the football club. I certainly got the feel that the club was staring to put down roots there before it was time to move on again.

My horse just can't take the distance. When clubs stopped leaving hay outside the ground it just didn't seem fair on the old girl. When they get round to installing public transport up here i will be in dreamland. Should i have a win on them there premium bonds i might even buy a car


I may actually get to travel on that M62 "corridor" everyone keeps talking about.
