Those Widnes shirts are superb. Who makes them?

O'Neills, Irish firm who also makes the kit for Leigh, Rochdale, Whitehaven, Leigh East and Leigh Miners and are looking to get a foothold over here - they bid for at least one other tender in Super League but were beaten by ISC.

ISC are pretty much taking over SL. I wouldn't be surprised if they were the sponsors of the league in the end!

ISC have tried it in the past over here and bit off more than they could chew though I definitely get the impression they're better prepared this time. Certainly brought out some smart shirts this year.

Have to just say that I'm genuinely delighted with both kits this season and it could see me buying both. In particular I love the away kit and as a member of the Viking stronghold it features my name somewhere.
Really delighted with the kit launch too which looked really professional.

Although having been involved heavily in both kit launches I can agree with you. The "teaser" shots released through the week of the home kit really drummed up interest whilst the away kit came totally out of the blue. Teaser released xmas eve of a special delivery in your inbox xmas morning and even then people didnt think it was the away kit, Many saying discount at ONeills and many saying new player. Both photoshoots went really well and the players were great to work with, was a real good laugh for few hours. Just a design I made for a saints away shirt. I've heard the colours for next season are going to be navy blue, gold and red.

A mate of mine is the designer, i've texted him to tell him to read all the good comments people have written about the Widnes kits.

Personally I don't see what all the fuss is about with those Widnes kits. I mean could that chevron be any bigger? And the less said about the luminous away kit the better.

The Widnes shirts are great especially the away one.

Widnes shirts are ok in design but the club badge is terrible, if you ask anybody who isn't an R.L fan to pinpoint the club's badge they would probably point out a sponsor!
