| Quote ="pmack17"Not sure I'm happy.
Cant see what everyone is raving about with Briscoe - young with potential yes but he has done absolutely nothing to date. IMO Fox would be a much better choice.
Happy that Tomkins is in as hes in a class of his own.
Dont like the fact that he has dropped Moore - big ask of Roby to play 80 minutes.
Think Crabtree will get smashed by the Aussie pack - would have preferred Carvell but only just.'"
True...Hope Roby doesn't get hurt early doors...going with one hooker is risky in any game!
Plus Crabtree defies logic...the guy is a big unit but rarely causes a good defence any problems...think someone should have a word in his ear and say the idea is to try and run through the tackle not fall into it!!

See that's the problem, he just doesn't look like he'll bust the line like Carvell does....

| I think Crabtree is a poor selection, plus most teams work best with two hookers, Using eastmond in that position won't benefit the team, Roby is good, but i prefer the impact play.
If it gets tasty i would of liked to see Carvell available to bring on, likes to give out the rough stuff and isn't afraid of mixing it, hope Crabtree won't shy away.

Of course, being a Hull KR fan you're going to be slightly biased, just like Cas fans will be toward Shenton, Leeds fans towards Sinfield and Smith, Warrington fans towards Bridge, Westwood and co.
I saw most - if not all - of KR's televised games and the game against Cas, and he was steady in attack - and like I said had the ability to score tries but his defence was shocking at times.

You'll want to be kicking to Morris if your kicks are going to be ordinary, because Hayne and Slater can return the ball well. It will be the end of be the beginging of the end for England

| Don't know why people are complaining about Crabtree's selection. He's a very mobile prop with good handling skills, and could be ideal for coming off the bench.

| Wow, so many people on an RL forum who have clearly not seen a game all season.
Love the attitude of "He plays for Huddersfield so he must be rubbish".

| Code 13 you are totally wrong, this has nothing to do with who he plays for, i respect every player who pulls on a shirt for any club, if i think that some may not be the best option for England, this has no bearing on my thoughts toward the club.
Ironically, it is you who has just suggested it is due to his club,

Couldn't agree with a statement any less.
Hodgson has been immense this season, and Moore, Mason, Brown and many other Huddersfield players have played very well, to their potentials imo, so this has nothing to do with "Just because it's a Huddersfield Player"

| I am suggesting anyone who says he isnt good enough hasnt watched a game all season, and is basing their opinion on his club because they are absolutely not basing it on a knowledge of RL.
Maybe he wont cut the mustard on saturday, but to say he has been easily handeled by good defences is one of the most misinformed statements of all time, and on this forum, thats saying something.

CRABTREE?
I haven't seen much of him but if he plays for shudds he can't be great shakes and he is handled by good defences.

| Would of gone with Carvell over Crabtree as he adds more impact. Tom Briscoe deserves his place, hasn't put a foot wrong in any game for club and country. Eastmond on the bench is a good call, as is the halves parntership of McGuire and Tomkins. Would of prefered Moore as hooker though. Westwood isn't as bad as people make out either. Burgess should be starting in second row with Graham dropped to bench.

Depends who they support. Think Smith has the 6, 7 and 13 right. McGuire is in on form, Tomkins is in on form and Sinfield is in on form.

| And if Carvell would have been put on the bench instead of Crabtree, he would have been called for Warrington bias.
I think that team is capable if the defence is solid. Thats a big if though.

| The Warrington players in the squad have been good this season.
Morley - Man of Steel contender
Carvell - along with Morley, been immense for Wire
Westwood - been good, maybe have Jones Buchanan instead
Bridge - quality cover for the centres and at stand off
They must of done something right to win the Cup.

| Its true, they did...
Crabtree has been immense for Huddersfield, you know, the team that finished 3rd in the league, with the best defence and 3rd best attack.
Crabtree was at the heart of that attack, and has shattered even the very best defences all season.
If you think otherwise, then your opinion isnt based on any single facet of anything thats actually happened this season.
