Great game, great final. Two teams, both would have been worthy winners.

Disappointing the officials had such an influence and its a pity they couldnt match the performance of the two sets of players.

Great effort Leeds, Wigan very lucky in that most decisions went there way. All the officials were totally rubbish, should be ashamed of themselves.
Good final though, burrows was man of the match for me.

Brett Delaney was probably the best player (rugby player that is) on the field today. Lima was just given that for being a bully.

Is it just me that thought halls second try was never grounded? Not watched it again yet but didn't look like it was on the head on shot.

Were the guys who voted Mcguire & Sam Tomkins watching a different game to everyone else?? Burrow and Leu Lai were the best players on the pitch. Surprised Leu Lai didn't get a vote.

If we're discounting dodgy tries then it would be 16-12 to Wigan.

Astonished by the negativity on here. Superb game, result in doubt until the last couple of minutes, one of the best Wembley tries I've seen in 30+ years, near 80k crowd, didn't see any trouble of any kind, superb atmosphere generated by both sets of fans.

I would have gone for tommy leuluai or rob burrow, but I thought Lima was going to get it on the back of a couple of eye-catching moments.

Not necessarily. I was undecided who I wanted to win prior to kick off, went for Leeds as I know more Leeds fans, although having Josh at our place last year I was also favouring him.

I think Wigan were the better team, you just had a better edge to you and were a bit more clinical and efficient.

However, the poor decisions made by the officials [idid[/i influence the score, not necessarily the result, but almost certainly the score.

Personally any negativity from me is on the basis we were robbed of a classic.

That game was as intense, as high a quality as I have seen for a long time. The two sets of players deserved us talking about them, about their skills, about Joel Tomkins in and out, Mcguire and Sinfields fast hands, Mcguire's world class pass and Ryan Halls finish, Tommy Lueulai's defence and impact

But a succession of simple and poor decisions from the officials overshadowed that and took that way from us. For want of a better description, they ruined the game, and they didnt need to.
The forward pass to Lima for his try is frankly embarrassing, it is unacceptable for a professional referee to miss, there was no mitigation, it was clear and obvious.

The out of play from Burrow is just stupid, we have a VR who can check these things in seconds, why put yourself in the position to have to make that decision? Thats not a failling in skill its a failure in decision making.

Those were simple and avoidable mistakes that simply shouldnt have happened, and certainly not on a stage that big.

As i said to start with, Wigan were worthy winners, but I would have loved to see those two teams slugging out for those final ten minutes, seeing if either had that bit of skill to snatch a victory but that was taken away from us.

As a Leeds fan, i feel robbed of those ten minutes and the chance to be part of a classic much more than I feel robbed of victory.

The game got an overnight rating of 1.6m a 14.5% share of the viewing.

Yes it was a forward pass, but then shouldn't Ablett and Bailey have been enough to stop one man ? Poor defence as well as a forward pass cost Leeds that try.It's not as if Lima took the pass and fell over the line.

The forward pass to Lima is as borderline an example as I've ever seen. I could understand it if the ball was blatantly thrown a meter forward but they were so close to each other and moving forward that it is effectively impossible to say with any certainty if the ball was passed forward or whether it was momentum when we know camera angles are so inconclusive. The so-called great pass from McGuire to Hall was arguably as forward as the pass to Lima, but nobody tends to pick on the bad calls the losing side got do they?

The out of play from Burrow was a 50/50 call. If it had gone your way we'd have just as much right to complain. ATEOTD Burrow knocked the ball onto Charnley so who played at it last?

So is it poor refereeing or just sour grapes and selective blindness? We could maybe determine which if you gave your opinion on how "embarrassing" the incorrect PTB was that lead to your 2nd try?
