I agree, maybe if Wigan weren't money saving by not opening a stand they wouldn't force 500+ fans in with the home lot and thereby create the problem to start with.

The stand was never offered as the tickets sent to the Giants were for the side stand only - They never intended to open it.

I like Tomkins, he has a competitive attitude that all decent halfbacks need, if that occasionally comes over as over aggressive or niggly then I'm not too concerned, the positives outweigh the negatives.

According to many bitter, bitter crust munchers there were over 500 there.

just the usual banter between fans... when tompkins scored his try the wigan fans thought they had won and started winding up the giants fans which did get a reaction from a certain few but no fighting

but when the giants scored next it was payback

its not over till the fat lady sings and all that... wigan walk was in full swing

No, that was my mistake, I mistook 2 Giants fans being removed from their seats for them being evicted, when in fact they were taken behind the concourse and given a bollocking, before the stewards took pity on their crying and wailing and let them back.

The fact is Wigan fans where calling him the best half back in Super League, now it's the best fullback. The truth is his been moved from Half back because he doesn't have the organisation or directional sense to lead his side around the pitch, he also doesn't have the game breaking play of a Kyle Eastmond.

Tomkins looks decent because he can attack at fullback but other than that he'll be average and definitely not International class. The way Cudjoe walked around him for the winning try on Sunday was very poor.

Out of interest did you make it over to the Galpharm earlier in the season? Do you attend every single game home and away?

As for seeing fans leave before the end to beat traffic, sure it happens elsewhere.
