All I can say is I am glad with the results of today and I am looking forward to watching Fax in the play-offs.

It's quite ironic that, in this era where off field criteria seem to matter as much as on field events, the two best stadia outside of SL will both be hosting Championship 1 games next season.....

Think Championship One will be the most 'honest' of the leagues next year, to be honest. Only expansion side is London (Worky at a push), and they're certainly doing things properly.

Did we? Bottom 2 places are relegation places. We didn't finish in them. Unfortunately that wasn't enough due to the tolouse situation.

Oh well bring on Hunslet

Widnes fan yes, disgruntled no. I think you will find that 99% of Widnes fans have now moved on from the franchise farce. I also take no pleasure in other teams misfortune, as I know we have had enough of our fair share over the years, most of it our own fault.

Sadly another great club, with tradition are now finding they're waking up to the fact that they are finding themselves in the lowest tier of our proffesional game. A team with a great stadium, and a history of producing Super league quality players. I just hope this isnt the death of a great club.

Embarrassed to admit I've only just noticed/realised that Leigh were relegated despite finishing about Toulouse.



Why were Leigh relegated instead of Toulouse

Dig out the road map,enjoy your visit to Hunslet,Rochdale etc.Why wouldn't Leigh fans enjoy travelling to see their team play wherever that may be?It's the game of RL,our game,the game we all claim to love.Why should the enjoyment be any less because your'e team are playing at Hunslet or Rochdale instead of at Widnes or Halifax?Unless of course you are looking down your nose at Championship one clubs,like they are some kind of dog turd on the soles of your shoe.Snobbery never did fit in with the game of RL.

And so little old Batley Bulldogs deafeat the pre-season knockers and relegation odds once again!
