| Will the club chosen be subject to a more rigorous examination than certain clubs that are already in Super League?
Be interesting to see what the criteria is, and if some existing clubs don’t meet it.

| Pick Widnes
Good facilities 13,500 all seater stadium
Brilliant youth development, year after year
Debt free and financially sound
Brilliant history
Will take thousands of fans to other games generating a lot more match day revenue.
We’ve been rebuilding and have a really good championship team formulating for next season. Add 6-7 good SL standard players and I believe we could become competitive (not talking about winning silverware)
A town that lives and breeds rugby and always will.
Great opportunity for any team who gets the nod and hope they take it and don’t look back.

How did Toulouse produce such a professional video trailer so quickly after the announcement ? Almost as if TO13 had prior inside information to prepare !
Interestingly Tolouse video features the happy smiling faces of CEO's/Directors Ian Lennagan of Wigan, Gary Hetherington of Leeds & Head Honcho, Supremo & CEO of Super League Robert Elstone enjoying the 'hospitality' of Toulouse Olympique.
I am sure that nobody would ever suggest that 'free holidays' & other incentives have ever been offered to or accepted by these 3 very influential Super League CEO's !

Maybe they could play off at Bradford's state of the ark bomb crater ? You know, their home ground that they can't afford to play in !
Toulouse are though as good a bet as any.

On field performance - Toulouse, Fev or London
Facilities - Leigh / Widnes
Financial backing - Leigh / Toulouse
Fan base - Bradford / Widnes
Expansion - London / Toulouse
Maybe alphabetical order - Bradford

How can anyone suggest a play off when none of the Championship Clubs have played or even trained, most do not have a full contracted squad assembled & even Super League Clubs with big squads & academies can't fulfill games ?
It's a bloody ridiculous suggestion.

Bradford were the epitome of boom and bust as were Toronto but, people like you would give them preferential treatment
You say the decision on the 12th club is vital. Well, actually, no it isnt, as it could be all change when the new (lower) TV deal is agreed and there is every possibility that there will be a further change to both SL and The Championship.
As for Fev and Leigh, you may be right about Fev but, Leigh have themselves in a very strong position both on and off the field.
It's fundamentally wrong to elevate (falsely promote) any club that hasn't been able to mount any sort of challenge at the top of The Championship, absolutely wrong.
This is not any personal bias for or against ANY club but, just what is RL wanting to do ?'"

So did crowds.
I’ve seen Hull Kr and hull fc fans full on brawl
Seen wire fans involved in trouble at Catalans
I’ve seen Wakefield fans attack Widnes fans for 0 reason after a few too many
Saw a cas tigers woman at magic weekend launch a few hayemakers
Every club has idiots, you won’t convince me otherwise. The way that particular club deals with those fans, that’s how it’s judged.

I would not give Bradford preferential treatment at all, but they are easily the biggest club outside Super league and the biggest potential supporter base. I think they will be high on the list of clubs to go up, but not necessarily my choice.
I don’t really care who Goes up that much as long as they bring plenty to the table, i.e good crowds, player/grass roots development, great facilities, ideally geographical spread, financial stability.
My preferred choice is Toulouse as they meet most if not all the above criteria and are in my opinion are the best choice (which may be the SL clubs choice)! and I would ideally like 2 more French teams in the Championship, Avignon and another.
You actually seem to agree with most of what I am saying.

It's sadly the luck of the draw. David and Carol Martin won £66Million on the Lottery once, would you like to start getting tickets every week, it sounds just about enough to build the stadium, fill it with over 10,000 fans (I was in such a crowd against CAS) and buy in a winning side.

over the last 6 months I've had 20 wins highest being just £30 but if I ever was lucky enough to get that sum of money I know my partner wouldn't mind me using some to benefit the local junior sides that get these lads lasses playing

TRL poll favours Toulouse at 52%
Then they consider the knock on of who goes up to the Championship.....
71% Newcastle. Pretty much a win win all round this as we lose a phoney "Expansion" club and gain two Giant steps outside M62 land........
That will do me.....
