It was the correct ruling. The ball has to go 10 metres before any player can touch it- it’s an awful ruling though- thing is with that kick if he hadn’t caught it the trajectory of the ball would probably have taken it 10 metres.

I hope the catastrophically bad call by the ref to that no try obstruction hasn't deterred criticism for the rest of his game. Cos Kendall was abysmal before that, infact he ruins and has a massive say in quite possibly every game he's involved in. How many penalties were given? The ball travelled 10 as the cats player caught it inside 40? You can’t say it didn’t beucase it never bounced and thus you would only be assuming it was going to bounce short in the first place? There could’ve been a big gust of wind to take it that much further, but the player never allowed it to bounce (right thing to do) and was catching it in his own 40.
