This season Barba has been excellent and even as a Wigan fan will say Barba has been better than Sam. Sam is not the same player that left Super League for the NRL. Before he left Sam was exceptional year in year out for Wigan. People mentioning Sam flopped in the NRL because one of injury hit season. RTS and Isack Luke have also been pathetic at the Warriors, does that make them NRL flops? Season one Sam was up there with the best in the NRL, the stats are there to see. People talk about how good Barba was in the NRL, I remember one exceptional year for the dogs and one good season at the sharks. He was pathetic at the Broncos. If Barba plays like the way he is for Saints for three or four seasons then the argument is ended with Barba the better player.

All this talk of Tomkins flopping in the NRL is total nonsense. He made a choice to go to the complete wrong club. He went from a club with structures to a joke side who half the time don't know themselves what their next move is on the pitch. He had reasonable try returns, plus his second phase ball and tip ons led to the warriors scoring some very neat trys from his work. Its the non Wigan fans again having a pop without watching what he properly did. No I am not a Wigan fan

I was surprised he went to the Warriors really as it was always going to be a struggle there - unless nobody else was interested.

He was exposed defensively and in his kick returns but I'd suggest that plenty of other fullbacks would look just as bad in that side.

Obviously not seen as RTS is joint top of Dally M voting so far and Issac Luke clearly didn’t flop at Souths. Flop at New Zealand, yes but not in the NRL. Terrible comparison.

Which means byproxy Roberts is 5 times the player Tomkins is/was. Also, how many Dally M’s has Roberts got? Please answer me. Oh you won’t. I will answer it then. Zero. Unlucky

To be fair. Give Martyb his dues, at least he hasn’t blamed it on jealousy like some other Wigan fan didn earlier in the thread. Instead he just made up some stupid stat that doesn’t make any sense. That’s the thing about Wigan fans. If you criticise any of their players they go into melt down. Don’t believe me? Tested positive four days after the grand final, a long enough timetable to assume he took it before the match. Granted, it doesn't prove it but the fact it was his second positive test looks a bit dodgy.
