I don't know if this is evidence of a widening gap. I remember Leeds sticking 100 on Swinton about 15 years ago and was it last year when Barrow beat Cas? As dropgoalgiant says Huddersfield had to work hard to avoid losing and a couple of calls go their way (and they employ a full back who can tackle) then Fax could easily have beaten Bradford.

I suggested that SL team should only be allowed the same quota rules as the lower league team , but looking at the scorers last night it was almost a completely British team anyway , we just have to live with the fact that since F/T professionalism we have two different games being played , SL , and the rest , and it will probably just get worse , not better

Until as a sport we start to produce a lot more quality players and are able to pay them more money at the lower levels this is what will happen
