the CC benefits the game through terrestrial coverage but for atmosphere nowhere near early evening in October at a really atmospheric stadium

Regularly go to both and as a Doncaster fan I'm always a neutral.

Much prefer the Challenge Cup, it just seems a better atmosphere and more of a Rugby League event than a match between 2 teams.

More than once I have been bored at Grand Finals (and you get too many kids with horns who dont watch the game)


(Edit - by kids with horns I don't mean those born in areas famous for their chemical industries)

I always had the horn when I was a kid too. Especially once I reached 11/12 onwards

Old Trafford everytime for me,a lot better atmosphere than Wembley.

Both are two completely different experiences.

The CC final has more of a slow, traditional & historic feel to it.

The Grand Final is much more of a fast, modern, high pressurised type of atmosphere.

I enjoy both types of atmospheres equally.
