The irony of that comment from a bloke whose sole contribution to the site is copying and pasting links to stories in the Age, League Express or the SMH that we have all read already and occasionally posting poorly constructed sentences saying 'I really hate Union' 'I luv League' or 'JB in Perth loves gayfl' is incredible!!!!

| I was about to ask how young Flanagan did for Wests, and stumbled on this thread by accident.
BTW Barrie lad, before throwing stones about 'Poms' supporting NRL teams from afar (or Aussies who may follow a SL side), why not cast your eyes around the sad sacks in Aus who 'support' EPL sides, despite having close to zero knowledge of football. Now that I find funny.
Still interested to know how Flanagan did BTW.

| Flanagan didn't get much time. Got smashed a couple of times and dropped the pill cold once.
I hope he improves, our bench looked as menacing as a meringue.
Moors, Cayless, Flanagan and Fitzhenry. Between them the only thing they did of note was Fitzenry throwing his face at George Rose's forearm.

I can't see you blokes winning the premiership with that pack.

you never know
how good would a tigers / eels GF be?
im interested to see how my side saints - a defensive side copes with the tigers at full flight
we were lucky to beat parra with way more possession

Don't get me wrong... I love their style of play and applaud Sheens for it.
He has always encouraged good attacking footy.
But the pack...
Can't see it.
2005 was stronger in my view.

| i hope you are right as it means my team has more chance
its just the games so fast attacking teams just cant be held out
manly had a 16 point lead and when the tigers clicked they over came it
parra had no ball and still looked like scoring all the time
its good how there are different styles
ie attacking - parra, tigers
saints - brick wall defence
and teams that mix the 2.

| St's v Bulldogs or Sth's v Wests would be great for the game in Sydney.
For the game as whole I'd love to see Warriors v Titans but can't see that this year.

saints / dogs - hate each other
saints / souths - history 65, 71
souths / tigers - history 1908, 1969
parra / dogs - history - 1980s GFs

And the award for Barry McKenzies new signature quote goes to the idiot who claims to support the Dragons even though he claims to live out West although he has never heard of the Blue Mountains.
Top stuff Dally.
Barry McKenzie thanks you

| I don't know why it's taken me so long to ask, but I must've missed the whole Blue Mountains thing. How did the conversation/argument go?
