1. Your support will still be abysmal (after the novelty of the first game has passed).
2. Your away support will always be shocking
3. You'll never have any stability or a ground to call your own because you'll always be on the move (rather then the RFL just admitting defeat and closing the club down).
4. You won't get the better of Rovers on the pitch as you won't last long enough to do so.

well i for one would rather nip down the M56 to wrexham and a proper stadium and welsh hospitality than 2hrs to Hull kr and pay £17 to be virtually unsighted of the game and get abused while i'm there

leeds was always gonna be a big game i'm dreading the catalan at home game.

Might have been an idea to twin it with a big game like the Leeds opener or Wigan and offer half price entry for those who had bought a full price ticket to Leeds or Wigan.
The same could have been done for the Quins game.

I was all for this last season but it never seemed to happen.

Then again a lot of what the people in charge did last season didn't make sense to me at all. I hope the club push initiatives for these so called lesser games.

Not sure why because I didn't say they wouldn't ever beat us once, just saying I personally still don't feel that they earned their place in SL, and that they wrongly were put in before they were ready (which I don't think anyone can deny going on last season's results and attendances).

Will gladly admit to been wrong about Catalans working in France (at home anyway), but Crusaders I just can't see it. The fact they've been quick to slap 3000 loyal fans in the face by moving the team 100-odd miles away after 1 season is a disgrace in itself.

Is amnesia common in East Hull?

I too am surprised at the statement that we have an income of around 10/11 million and yet haven't made much of a profit, but the club has grown massively over the last few years. The (non-gameday) hospitality side including the hotel, the building of the Carnegie Stand, the building of Kirkstall training base, and the paying off of over £4 million debt over the last few years (which means for the first season in over 10 years Leeds are debt free). Now I'm nowhere near an expert in accounting so whether that makes up for all the supposed "black hole" I don't know but it must have an impact on our profits.

Despite not making a profit, the club is in much better shape than its been for a long time.

For the majority of people thats not the case. a lot of people want to see them succeed, but just can't. As much as I would have liked to have seen them successful in South Wales there was never the interest to support a club at the bottom of the table. (As there was in the South of France).

In North Wales it'll be the same, were they competitive they might do okay, but with the squad they have (Made up of trash from the NRL plus a few Welsh players) they will be lucky to win a game this season. How can a club expect to attract new supporters to watch that?
