Richard Horne has been fairly good this season. Why not give him a shot?

Morley and Fielden are the two most consistent props in the league.
Sadly for Fielden, he's on the wrong end of the scale, Morley is not.

If you look past his "aggressive" nature, he's one hell of a second rower. I certainly don't like his name to be missing in a Warrington squad.

Probably because the second you see a players club as Hull FC, you automatically think "injury".

| Don't see what the point of Morley is, he's on the slide these days. Westwood is in on effort. I don't think he's anything special but you can't knock his work rate.
The real worries are that we're thin on the ground for genuine international class backs and halfbacks. I'd like to see Pryce used as a centre at international level, I think he could be genuine international class in that position. But then I don't think we've got a single genuine international class scrum half or standoff.
Atkins is probably the best of the specialist British centres running about at the moment, so no complaints there. I'd like to see Richard Horne stake a claim at fullback, I think he's another one like Pryce who could be international class outside of the halves.

His absence is one of my major sources of consolation. Decent player for a touring party, where his versatility is useful, but not good enough in any one position for this sort of exercise. IMO, of course.

That's because TS doesn't feel he has to work with him, he'll be in the squad, as will Pryce.

| Would have liked to see Peter Fox, Sam Tomkins and Sean Ainscough in the squad personally.
Ben Westwood shouldnt get anywhere near an international jersey - thick as 2 planks!
Very very odd choice of squad IMO.

I Strongly disagree.
Westwood just gets better and better every year.
When he first signed for Warrington he was a donkey, now he's a player who plays 80 minutes and continually busts as many tackles in the 70th minute as he does the 10th. He's cut a lot of the daft penalties out and this year under TS he looks even better than last year.
Should he be in the team before Ellis or Hock? I personally rate them as better players, Hock especially from the bench but for mine he's better than almost all the other British second rowers around, something I thought i'd never say about Ben Westwood, credit to his hard work over the last 4 years or so.
I agree on the squad choice though, could have been a couple more backs, mainly Fox for me, I really rate that guy.

| Most Warrington fans would put Morley and Westwood's name as the first two name on the team sheet. Reading this most oppositon fans don't appreciate their work but Warrington are much poorer when one of them is missing.

Graham is the pinnacle of prop forwards in this country. Him and Peacock are the two leading props by quite some distance. Then comes the likes of Lynch, Morley and co.
And by the way I wish people would stop comparing Maurie Fa'asavalu to your regular props. He is an impact player and has done it very consistently this season. He's just not being noticed because of a lack of 50 metre dashes that were his trademark and because of Bailey's accidental high shot.

Wha'? I'd like to see at least Briscoe and Fox get call ups. If they don't then Smith needs to see a psychiatrist! If he's "refreshing" the squad (which is questionable given that 17) then Murrell would also be a good addition.

Your living 20 years in the past.
A Prop forward is not just a player that just runs into the opposition and gets tackled, not anymore. Although, lately he has wanted to pass the ball every time, and it doesn't work every time. It works every so often when the opposition are least expected him to pass the ball, but Graham seems to insist (or is been told) to pass the ball the majority of his drives at the minute.

The key point. I can't understand why so many RL fans are outraged because this prop or that prop hasn't been selected despite the fact that Smith clearly plans to have a short-burst impact player coming off the bench and Fa'asavalu meets the criteria. I mean, since when was Andy Lynch an impact player?
