Let me educate you on a few things about Matty King my good man.

Matt King pretty much was stuffed mentally when he copped a terrible shoulder injury back in Australia....in fact it was so bad he quit footy for a while. He decided to give it another go a few years later and asked my team Cronulla Sharks to take him on but he never even made it out of the reserve grade as he was scared of damaging his shoulder again.

He originally came from a town up on the North coast of NSW and was never really keen on Sydney having always preferred Brissy so he decided to try his luck up there ...joining an amateur side that luckily for him just happened to be one of Storms feeder clubs. He impressed the Storm coaching staff and was given a chance back in the NRL and was a pretty good player.

Sadly for Matty he got into a few disciplinary problems and also started to refuse to carry out certain tasks at training with the Storm as he thought CB's coaching could injure his shoulder (which he had told the coaching staff was hurting him again) There were also a few issues with a couple of other storm players that its probably best we call 'differences of opinion'

I do know he wanted to move to England as the game is far easier over here and the pay is better.

I wasn't aware anyone had come in for him though. I thought he had retired.

Not only do we cater for the aged but we also rehabilitate hardened criminals. Did you know that girlfriend beater Greg Bird is plying his thuggery in our league too? He's in the south of France though.

Did you know Birdy was probably the least popular member of the Cronulla team and the rest of the squad used to torment him senseless??

He bought himself a top of the range car and used to bring it to training and crap on how much better he was at everything in life than his team mates and how he had a better flat, mobile phone, girlfriend etc etc

Naturally the rest of the squad got the jack of him and one day 'someone' borrowed his keys from his locker whilst he was at the gym and hid his car round on the leagues club car park before telling him it had been knocked off by a man of middle eastern appearance and was last seen being driven towards the city.

He burst into tears and went to ring his girlfriend only to find 'someone' had also glued the front of his flip up phone shut.

Another time 'someone' nailed his favourite boots to the floor of the changing rooms using masonry nails.

mason is a quality player whose form has dipped due to a serious knee injury and the recovery from it

he is being sacked from the chooks because of off field reasons

since poor off field behaviour isnt a concern for SL clubs (greg bird, latu etc) it shouldnt be a problem

Mason would be a great signing for a side like the Crusaders. He'd bring a lot of publicity and I suspect he'd love being the main man in a side.
