considering our dyer mid season blip to be 5 points behind the 4th placed team is a massive acheivement if your so good and the much better team in hull you should be winning every thing shouldnt you but i dont see many trophys in your cabinet we have been in super league nearly 4 seasons you have been there for about 13 seasons do the sums numb nuts but since we have beaten you 7 times out of 11 i think we are the better team if you work it out over the 3and a quarter seasons we been in super league we have finished about you twice and beaten as stated

When picking a team to support when getting into Superleague, I was attracted to Hull FC (having seem some fans somewhere and thinking they were a good bunch).

Because we haven't filed our accounts on time for about the last 5 years and i'd be shocked if come August this year Mrs B isn't giving us another daily reminder that we haven't filed them.

I actually read the new rules for late submission of accounts last year (not something I'm proud of), at the height of the madness. From this year onwards the penalties for repeat offenders on late submission are much more severe - the rules came in last year, but were not retrospective, so the earliest you can be punished as a repeat offender under the new system is this year.
Anyway, it'd be best to get them in on time.
Is it a forlorn hope that, if it comes to it, that late submission of accounts will not be confused with going in administration this year?

The trade-off is credit rating. As soon as accounts are filed, Dunn and Bradstreet et al update credit ratings and alert suppliers/business partners who subscribe to change in credit status notifications (as is the case for CCJs being filed). So in some cases the relatively small fines at Companies House can be worth paying to delay an event which would deteriorate a credit score.

Indeed, to an extent. Late-filing also tends to trigger downgrades, as of course does a poor supplier payment record - at least with credit insurers like Euler and Atradius, and pro-active rating agencies (D&B being the only one that comes close there). Personally, when carrying out a credit assessment I am always very worried by late-filed accounts, and won't usually sanction significant (if any) credit until and unless I get a decent explanation - AND a set of the accounts.
