| Quote ="TheElectricGlidingWarrior"Hock and Luaki cost us the game last night. When games are so close ill-discipline will always be your downfall. Possession, position, points. That's what those two gave away and Wire deserved to win because they kept their discipline when it mattered.
As for the spear tackle, well let's just say I think Blythe (?) did a good job of helping himself over the horizontal.'"
So, in short you are saying Matty Blythe would risk the potential of a broken neck just to get a penalty

| Quote ="Nozzy"He (Hock) is an above average player. Problem is, the only 'above average' trait he has at the moment is his aggression which is way out of proportion to the rest of his ability. He just comes across as a violent spastic. Rugby isn't known for its intelligent players but J*sus wept, Gaz Hock is such a W*gan Stereo Type. On ability he should be in contestion for the GB 2nd row spot. But in reality, Ellis, JJB, Westwood and Burgess will walk it. Thats without mentioning the up and coming lads like Farrell, Clarkson, Whitehead and Addy!
Hock COULD be the best 2nd rower in Great Britain IMO.... but he won't even come close!'"
Brilliant! You've managed to offend disabled people and also introduce a new word to the English language whilst talking about intelligence .

Utterly spellbinding one eyed view on the incident. I'm more than impressed .
I should also have known that the thread would become a Hull/Hull KR cock swinging contest.......I love it

After your criticism of another poster's ability to see what was in front of him, that comment is incredibly ironic.
Care to point out just how you reached that conclusion?

So will he get punished this time or same again. Don't think there was a derby game went by were he did not do something stupid (yes we did our best to wind him up)

| Wasn't a fan of him at Hull and wasn't too impressed when we signed him.
So far he hasn't done anything that has impressed me and with a fully fit side he wouldn't get in the 17 for me. Mossop, Lima, Flower and Prescott would be my 4 props. Last night just summed him up. 3 penalties in 5 minutes, game over.

| Lauaki’s a fool, he should have gone for ten last night, however, so should quite a few more.
When you look at the number on Neanderthals on show last night it’s hardly a surprise, what with Westwood & Hock ably abetted by Morley who started the game like he was at a coconut shy.
The blame has to fall to Silverwood for not clamping down on it sooner, I’ve no idea what constitutes a sin bin anymore.
Great game though.

Watch the incident again. Luaki only had hold of one leg and Blythe had his other leg on the floor. What caused Blythe's standing leg to raise in the way it did? I'm pretty sure Luaki, as big as he is, cannot cause a grown man to flip through 180 degrees by raising one leg! If anyone is at fault it is Tuson as he uses Blythe's arm to twist him over, presumably not knowing that Luaki had his leg in the air, but Blythe, in my opinion, played to it very cynically.

So Blythe pushed/jumped off his one standing leg, causing himself to do a 180degree flip ? Jesus, them are some powerful leg muscles he's got there, then.

Been read the boards i thought i was the only person who noticed Morleys headhunting early doors. Seems he is above blame for anything these days, Warringtons own favourite granny....
Just to clarify, i like the bloke and think he is a top player, but you could argue he started the niggly play last night... Luaki should have walked BTW.

| As a neutral it was an awesome game, as a Giants fan I hoped for draw with plenty of biff and some suspensions. I got one wish and nearly two, bloody Charnley and his crap kicking
Morley was head hunting from minute one
And Westwood slotting his own player was priceless

No, but it would require exceptional strength, and split second presence of mind to realise that one leg has been lifted, therefore he should do a forward somersault in order to win a penalty.

| I don't see Warrington play too much but it looks like Morley is unable to tackle without a high swinging arm. Great in his time but I think retirement is inevitable, he's screwed if anyone side steps him!
Westwood appears prone to the odd cheapshot, sure it's not the first time he has hit his own teammate (plank).
Not a lot you need to say about Luaki, he was diving at players knees, dropping people on their necks and leading with the forearm/elbow.
Wigan are very good at cheating the ref, Finch got a few! Wigan seem to get every 60-40 decision. How is Gareth Hock still playing? Drugs cheat and Gouging, how many chances does he get? Does he have to blind someone to get permantly banned.

| Lauaki was a joke; most Wigan fans can admit that. He's a complete liability and in previous games has been giving plenty of warnings of what he was likely to do in a crucial game. He needlessly lost his cool late on against Leeds, inexplicable ran in from 30 yards away to shove Sa against Catalans, went hitting players late off the ball against Widnes and so it's no surprise that he's acting like an idiot again.
Wane is the one who should take the blame to be honest. It was obvious that Lauaki should have been taken from the field after his first offence, possibly before that given how badly he was playing. Before the season Wane said the best players would start, those who played poorly would drop to the bench or miss out; how he's come to the conclusion that Lauaki deserves to start games and that Lima, our best prop (the stats back that up as do the eyes of every Wigan fan) only plays off the bench.
I can't understand why anyone would give Lauaki a 3 year deal, because everyone who watches Super League knows that he's a liability who under performs frequently. I hope he gets a couple of lengthy bans.

| I just can't understand what happened to him really. When he first came over to Hull at the end of 2009 and the Saints game in the fog in 2010 he looked like he was going to rip Super League to shreds, then something changed and he's not been close to being the same player.
I did think it was the way he was treated by referees (the derby game at CP in 2010 when he got pinged for everything), but the things he got away with last night I'm not even sure it's that.
Strange one really.
