The game still hasn't quite got it right since the SLW. Until we have more players, like Prince has today, speaking about the desire to represent Australia, we won't get back to our international potential for rugby league WITHIN Australia.

They really are rattled! What happened to all the bulish arrogant remarks about how great they are and how easily they will stuff us? Now it's 'We don't like international RL anyway'. I fancy us to do the Australia/Fiji/Tonga/Samoa/NZ/PNG Kangaroos and the World Champs will breeze past them.

1 WC loss means nothing.They will get back on track sooner or later.

The Kangaroos have no reason to be anything other than incredibly proud of their recent record stretching back say 30 years or so.

The Kiwis deserved to be World Champions in 2008. They timed their run beautifully in the tournament. Assistant coach was probably partly responsible for that. A team of his has a similar look for the weekend.

i can tell you that quite a few of the aussie posters on this thread want anyone other than the roos to win the quad nations because its good for RL.

i personally went craxy when nz won the 08 WC - i was there wearing a Kiwi jersey

and i was cheering on england beating the roos back in the tri nations in 06
