Cracking win against a tricky opponent and a local derby. Thought Bogle was very good as was Tanaka and Solomon, Ramazanni. Can tell Ampadu is still rusty, some great tackles but out of position a bit and a few loose passes. Messlier frightens me still... will take time for confidence to come back. I really did think Darlow deserved a shot

Very good 3 points and I did think in that second half they would equalise. Meslier still flaps at the ball and every set piece I think we are going to concede. What with that and our inability to score from set pieces is something we need to work on. Bogle was my MoM. To not play brilliant and win 3 nil says a lot for the desire to keep going.

Bogle has been a real driving force for us this season. He got some stick early in the campaign but has proved to be one of the first names on the team sheet due to his link up play with James and strong all round displays. Agree with Trebor about Ampadu’s distribution, it wasn’t the best at times yesterday. He only had to make his Hollywood tackle on Windass because he gave the ball away seconds earlier. Let’s hope his decision making and execution improve as he plays more games.

Leeds definitely want Buendia and are trying to do a deal but they think at this stage he may go to Spain (according to G Smyth on square ball pod Monday) but a bit to play out yet, Farke could be a major factor (and that we look like getting promotion).

I would like to see the following start tonight. Meslier Bogle, Rodon, Wober, Schmidt Tanaka, Ampadu, James, Gnonto, Rmazani Piroe Not that Byram and Rothwell deserve to be dropped, more to keep them fresh for the Burnley game along with Aaronson and Solomon.

Yeh happy with that Tad. Would have liked to get Wober and Schmidt some minutes and hoping Gnonto gets a shift at 10. He will probably go Piroe at 10 and Joseph up front possibly.

Looks like he`s prepared to risk Byram, Aaronson and Solomon tonight. Let`s hope it doesn`t backfire for Monday`s game.

Sadly Sheff Utd and Burnley keeping winning - Burnley's defence is incredible. Looks a lot like last year - can Farke provide a better run in than last season as the pressure intensifies.

Leeds actually have a better defence than Burnley in terms of limiting chances and shots. We have a hologram in goal, though. I was surprised he didn't rotate a little and rest Aaronson and Solomon, but both were very good. It was great to get Firpo back and hopefully he starts against Burnley. Bogle was superb again, and was POTM IMO. The verity of his runs and his passes are brilliant and have added so much to our attack.

Agree with most of the above namely Tanaka lucky not to get a second yellow, Aaronson decent first half, Solomon, James and Bogle again my MoM for the second game running. Also agree Solomon and Aaronson should have been rested and Piroe unfortunately not doing a right lot. Scoring early doesn`t seem to help us and the notion that those teams that park the bus make it difficult for us doesn`t ring true. Both Wednesday and Norwich attacked us for a good 20 or so minutes and we didn`t exploit it. The test will come on Monday although with slightly better luck Sunderland could/should have beaten Burnley 4 nil so there`s hope.

A really positive press conference from Farke. Struijk should be back in a couple of weeks, and he confirmed we're looking at a 10, and striker and centre back cover.

I think one of them at least will drop off. Possibly Sunderland. No team has not got auto promotion on Leeds points total at this stage also..

Yes reported in Leeds Live with Farke recognising Struijk does pick up injuries and whilst we have some cover other options will if right will be considered same as the 10 or words to that effect. The only real injured player is of course Bamford who will be out longer than expected. The wimp Farke said:“If there is a solution for a creative midfield player it definitely make sense to stay awake. In all the other areas we are covered. The only two [positions] we have to stay awake in my head is the centre-back position… and perhaps a bit in the striker position.”

they had a tiny squad and lost 3 to long term injuries. cannon could be a good signing. Diaz possibly. the others average

I think whoever we might sign as a striker it wouldn’t take them long to be first choice and starting up front. Any half decent centre forward will make a massive difference to our team. Barring an injury crisis, I think that one signing alone would get us over the line for automatic promotion.

Yeah with the amount of possession we have and we create the most big chances, our striker should be top scorer in the championship. I do wonder if Farke's unusually open comments about what he would like to see come in is a message to the board to get things done..
