I am watching the game now and i honestly can't believe they are trying to tell people that the attendance is 83K its not even close to that spare seats on every row and section. But got to hand it to them for the massive publicity stunts that they have been doing for the past 3/4 seasons.

The attendance given is for tickets 'sold' rather than the number that actually turn up. Either way it was mighty impressive and the sort of event we ought to take note of.......

Not a good round for SL attendances in Round 6 even when taking into account Catalans latest questionable figure of 6,600 (6,510 according to League Express and their reporter at the game, Richard Wilby).

I await JonB95's Round 6 declarations in due course as I assume he is still trawling YouTube in the hope of discovering a Catalans attendance of around 8,500 instead.

Exciting times for those clubs, especially Salford, Castleford and HKR..... it's just a shame that those 7 clubs you left out are dragging the average down

1 of which shouldn't even be in the league and won't be for much longer thankfully while another are pretty much sold out every week due to limited capacity.

Still, always good to focus on the positives in RL of which there's many right now. You should try it one time.

Wakefield haven't hit their limited capacity yet and London are in SL because they were granted a licence......and unlike 3 other clubs, haven't gone into administration, so are entitled.
Hope that clears that up!
As for positives......this weeks attendances this far aren't doing you any favours!

People will pay top dollar to see star studded events.

We can't offer that in Rugby League.

Have you updated your TV figures yet with those missing weeks?

The average attendances after x amount of rounds will most likely increase significantly after the Easter period which is much later this year. Saints/Wigan already sold out.

Attending SL games doesn't cost top dollar though.
