Looks like a decent crowd at Salford tonight, they do love their Rugby League in the borough of Trafford.

6,000 , pretty ordinary really.

You clearly failed big time with geography at school didn't you chump? The stadium lies within the boundaries of the City of Salford. There was more than 6K there by the way.

Poor crowd, British team needing to win to have a chance of staying in the World Cup. Not surprised though, only 4K turned up for the England v Italy friendly.

All rugby league supporters were entitled to attend tonight and only 6k turned up. Not sure how that is Salford's fault.

I agree, I know full well all those 10000 at Leigh wernt all Leythers, Wigan Warrington and Widnes all a short drive away, i thought the crowd was ok for a Thursday night.

I think it's great that 6,000 at Salford on a Thursday night is considered a poor crowd, but that's the bar that has been raised by this World Cup, love it! Made a nice chance to have some room to spread out a bit on the terraces after being at Leigh, Warrington and Rochdale!

They failed to sufficiently promote the game. They should have known that Salford's fan base would never be enough to make up for the lack of effort on the marketing team's behalf.

Would've took 6k before the tournament began. As mentioned however the bar has been raised since the tournament began with crowds elsewhere. It seems the north west RL fans prefer LSV to Salford Stadium judging by the attendance figures.

Let's be honest, that was a decent enough crowd tonight. It only seems relatively poor in comparison to some of the other amazing attendances achieved so far.

Not that I'm biased(!), but I was on the back row of the South Stand tonight and the view is nowhere near as good as even being halfway up the North Stand at Leigh. Must say though that the experience this time around was far better than my last visit which was when Leigh were there for the opening game the other year. No problems parking at Eccles RL and straight on to the motorway afterwards, and the catering was much better organised than other venues have been.

It wasn't an awful crowd but after going to the other local games and seeing much bigger crowds I would have hoped for more, especially with it being a british team. Salford is notorious for getting in and out of so maybe that put people off, although parking at eccles RL did a good job for me. I don't know :/ Although the fact that 6000 between Scotland and USA is being frowned upon just shows how well the world cup is doing.

Yeah Eccles RL is the best spot for parking. The view from the terracing is poor as stated however we did seem surprisingly switched on catering wise compared to some of the other venues.
