I remember from various Cup Finals shots near the end of the now certain-to-be winners' colours getting tied to the trophy. Surely that must be just as humiliating for the team that is losing, so what are these sports doing to outlaw such sadistic practices, punish the miscreants, and offer suitable compensation to the thousands of fans who over the years, in many sports, must have been deeply and permanently traumatized by such inhuman and barbaric actions, that surely have no place in a civilized world etc etc

What's far more humiliating is when the beaten finalists are forced to walk up the steps and collect their losers medals whilst walking past the trophy they've just been beaten to.

I remember when Leeds used to finish 6th or lower and not win anything or realistically look they could win anything. I just don't understand the mentality of some fans. It's as if they're happier moaning and complaining than enjoying the sport.
