| absolutely no way london will stay up and it is very unlikely bradford will stay up, even if they get 2 points back their pd is particularly bad. the race for 8th should be more entertaining.

| Bradford and London will go down. No doubt about that.
Even if Bradford were to get points back, which they shouldn't. They're a woeful excuse for a SL team. London may gain a win or two. But nowhere near enough.

| London - Not much of a fan base... However much the RFL try, they can't get it to work down there. It's a long way to watch a game without much competitiveness. I have nothing against them though.
Bradford - I feel they need to start a fresh. Everybody... (RFL, fans, team owners, players) have done there best to keep them safe whereas other teams have had to tough it out, and they still buggered it up. A clean state is the best thing that will happen to them. Again I have nothing against them.

| None,
London are in intensive care, relegation would be pulling the plug and stopping all treatment.
Salford would be an ambitious club suffering a large set back off the field which would then have a procession next year, likely winning every game which would be utterly pointless and counterproductive.
Bradford and Wakefield probably wouldn't survive and would go bust again.
All in all whoever is relegated will be utterly devastated as a club and unlikely to survive it or come out the other side in anything like a good position.

| I would say the 2 most poorly supported teams should go, 2 clubs that bring the least amount of money into the competition.... London and Salford.

London, because they need to regroup and build again before rising back up the divisions

| Don't forget that although 2 clubs will be relegated this season, it is likely that the remaining 2+ clubs treading water above them in the league could easily be relegated next season anyway.

| I should have made more clear what my meaning was in formulating this thread.
It is which two clubs would you [iwant[/i to see relegated [iof the ones that plausibly could get relegated[/i
Catalans are not plausible candidates for relegation because they are too far up the ladder and have too many home games left -- a majority of which they will surely win.
The same reasoning applies to Leeds, St Helens, Wigan and most of the others.
I guess the most cogent criticism that could be made of my list is that Hull FC is not there. But I just cannot imagine them being in the mix of candidates for relegation at season's end, especially now that they have bought the monster Setamaita Sa.

| The amount of vindctive rubbish on here is unbelievable. 'I want that club to go down because I don't like them, even though the league as a whole would be worse without them'. The mentality that is ensuring RL will never be what it could be in the UK.
London & Wakefield. Both are not commercially viable entities, both are poorly supported.
As for those arguing for Bradford & Salford - the one that until recently had five-figure home crowds, the other will a multimillionaire owner wanting to create success for RL in the largest city in the North of England - wake the feck up.

| After tonight's humiliating performance by Salford, losing to a youthful Wigan side missing ten first choice players, it seems to me that Salford might be better off putting Dr Koukash's millions into youth development while they regroup in the Championship.

| It's a bit of a strange question from the op.
There is plenty of tinketing from our governing body, looking for evermore "meaningful games"
How about relegating the bottom 2 clubs

| Catalan are just 4 points in front of Wakefield who have put 50 on them earlier in the season and have to play them again and there's still 26 points to play for, how are they not feasible relegation candidates.

London are as commercially viable as Salford......both rely on a benefactor to pay the bills whilst Bradford have shown themselves less commercially viable than anyone of late....

Salford isnt that large,or are you talking about Manchester,in which case Leeds,Sheffield and Bradford are arguablly all larger.
Didnt London have a multimillionaire backer wanting to create success in a large city?

| My cup half empty take on things is that bradford will be relegated and never come back.
I read such naive hogwash about rebuilding but I find it just as likely that we instantly go bust again and cannot remain in a cavernous stadium with 2k crowds. Just another former topflight club muddling along pointlessly. Sometimes known as the Halifax model. Or worse hunslet.
I do gain some comfort from knowing that owners and chairs of clubs such as leeds and saints know full well top flight rugby needs bradford and have said as much. The fans just want bradford to face an ill defined type of justice irrespective of the comp it leaves behind.
That kind of parochial spite at the expense of the strategically best scenario is unfortunate but infests every sport. I get it.
