From what I read i nreply to comment on Facebook about it is they will stream some games live and have a 7 day catch up for all games. Perfect for me that is. As I like my late lie in on a Saturday

If you don’t have a sky subscription or are about to cancel it you will have to contact P.S to get one of their viewing cards, not sure if they “fit” in other providers boxes though?

You won't find many Aussies describe 9 as excellent!

I'm an ex-pat Aussie and while I agree with the treatment of the game in general by 9 as pretty darn ordinary, this does not detract that their build up and pre-match analysis for the marquee games is usually first class.

On SKY we got Bomber and Wells in a studio chatting to each other while any pre-game hype was lost on the viewer.

So I'll be waiting to see what this new standalone player looks like. It will be great if they can stream all the matches shown on the TV channel live as I'm not a fan of watching games on demand. Usually because I have a bit of a flutter on the games too.

Either way I think £9.99 is very good value considering the amount of games they have. Seem's like they certainly mean business.

how long did it take take from you subscribing (over the phone or internet) until the channel become live on your sky box?

I subscribed about an hour ago online and the channel became viewable almost immediately. I used a promo code informing them that I'm a big fan of bowls

This earned me the first 2 months for the price of 1, a waiving of the £5 connection fee and a total saving of £15. So that'll be £60 cost for the whole NRL season before I unsubscribe again at the end of it... absolute bargain for all the games in the best RL competition in the world along with Origin and Anzac Test!

I am into my second year of PS now, having cancelled Sky in it's entirety prior to subscribing, and am still using my Sky card.

No HD tho.. bit gutted. Setanta Ireland have released a HD channel on UPC Ireland (cable) but not on Sky (it seems it was planned but later dropped).

Despite to what Premier Sports have said it seems the games are been streamed on at least one bookies site. Bet365 are advertising all games this weekend. So all you cheap skates have a kop out from paying a tenner a month now.

The repeat of Brisbane's game can be seen for free on premier sports on Friday 16.30 ,As is the Melbourne game on Sunday morning.

Anyone got any of those special codes for getting it even cheaper?

according the the SKY EPG, there are a few free air matches being shown on 428 this weekend. Use search and type in "free" under sports section (not the adult section obviously) and i think there are 4 games on freeview over the next week if you want a taster.

I've just put the NHL code in saving me the admin fee and getting 2 months, will they keep going after that or will i have to ask them to keep it going?

SKY NZ have only just agreed "in principle" to a deal for the NRL.....as of this time yesterday, there was acery real prospect of the Warriors game not being available on NZTV this weekend
