If it was all out in the open , then yes , as I have said , if extra funding was being given , then no promotion given on the back of that , but a Welsh club , full of Welsh players playing in the Championships would be great

This isn't all about getting into SL for the 4/5 clubs that possibly might one day be in a position to apply and be accepted , this is about putting in place structures , income streams and viable opportunities to run , build and grow all the clubs outside SL , we need more clubs , we need clubs that want to be part of the Championships without the SL is all attitude , because that is thrown at us all the time , and then the same people who throw that at us , then suggest in the next sentence , how good would it be to have a club in whatever new town/ city is currently in fashion

Would have been nice if the RFL had had the money to buy it, could have become the base for Welsh RL and future development. Played SL showcase games and Wales Int's there, Crusaders could have run as a CC club at peppercorn rent and RFL could get some income back from renting it out as a venue to other sports/events.

Think that can still happen without the burden of the RFL running the show. Lets not forget Wrexham FC will always be the dominant tennants if a RL team does play out of there but I think it is as good a result as was ever going to happen and now the hostility and bickering between the clubs fans can be put to bed there is a chance for getting new people interested who would not go this season as did not want to give money to Moss or Roberts.

A Championship side getting 1,750-2,000 or so is realistic and if the figures stack up and they can be self sufficant on that then the future of RL in Wales might not be too bad. Remember Scorpions fielded 13 Welsh players on Sunday and a North Wales club doing similar is not totally out of the question.

The situation with the Uni opens up more options and opportunities than you would have had with the RFL buying the stadium , but it all comes down to funding , it is no good having a 3rd incarnation failing , it has to succeed , and the only way to guarantee that success is for any new club to be owned and funded by the other member clubs , and that can only be done through the RFL
