| I notice now Westwoods finally getting the recognition he deserves after years
Hes got to start though, he isnt an impact player, hes an engine, you'd move Burgess to prop and put benny at 12.

Morley still can - reminds me a lot of Steve Price at the end of his career. Straight up and down with the ball, hits well in defence.
Peacock's shot. He's never getting back from that knee injury to anything like the player he was.
Sure he'll still put in a lot of work, but it won't be anything like the impact required at international level.
That he's still captain and an automatic choice speaks volumes about McBanana's understanding of the game.

Or more accurately, they'll dangle the prospect of Origin selection in front of him to make him commit to Australia - irrespective of whether he's actually got a chance of getting into the side or not.

I would think about putting McGillvary in for Hall, his return when he's on form are excellent, and he's built like a forward.

I'd go with that as first choice with plenty of back up from some of the good youngsters coming through at the minute like Lomax, McGillvary, Westerman etc.

Yep, he's an ex centre, Still has great footwork and is defensively sound in structured play. I'd say he's a better centre than all the current fit centres we have in this country right now. Cudjoe's the best "centre" we have though IMO.

Ablett would be the 1st person down on the Leeds team sheet. He is by far our best player and is vastly under rated by everyone else. He is twice the player Jamie Jones-Buchanan is and has so much to his game. He tackles hard and hits the line hard always seeming to get his arms free for the offload. He is a very skilful player too and reminds me a lot of a younger Ellis with his game. Sadly, all people think about when they see him is that silly challenge on Tomkins last year which isn't like him at all.

Which is why JJB wouldn be in my squad either, and I dont think about the Tomkins tackle I think he s an average player and think there is a long list of English eligible 2nd rowers that I would select above him.
Ellis
Tomkins
Westwood
Heighenton
Manu
Burgess
To name a few.
Also interesting that every team mentioned has Ellis and Westwood and I believe that no one as got Ablett in the squad, so can't just be my opinion.

Thats what im saying. He is vastly under rated by other fans and is far from average. At Leeds he is a top performer every week and is the best forward we have.
As far as the list you mentioned go, I disregarded Burgo as he's unavailable. Manu isn't English and will never play for England and Heigho is very good, but again has never played for England when he was in his peak, why now?

Fair enough disregarding those three
I'd still rather have
Tickle
Wilkin
Whitehead
Nothing against Ablett I just don't think he offers enough to be called into the England squad.

| I'd go:
Sam Tomkins
Tom Briscoe
Leon Pryce
Jack Reed
Jermaine Mcgilvary
Gareth Widdop
Danny Brough
James Graham
James Roby
Lee Mossop
Ben Westwood
Gareth Ellis
Sean Oloughlin
Ben Harrison
Adrian Morley
Chrs Heightington
Joel Tomkins
Whoever keeps saying Peacock get a grip, hes past it and Mossop is a much better player with more potential.
Ellis can play centre, hes a good all rounder quick enough, good co ordination and superb in defence. I'd have him there if Burgess wasn't injured.
Carvell - Definitley not
Reed is a class act, has learnt well in the NRL and is a quality centre and still only young, get an england jersey on him now.
Yeaman, Atkins and Bridge arn't good enough for International Level
If Mossop carries on as he is and doesn't get picked for the four nations and is picked behind peacock im supporting the aussies.
Ablett isnt good enough
Didnt Manu play for the exiles? Surely he isnt eligble.
Ratchford, Lomax, Broughton, Robinson, Lunt, Mcarthy Scarsbrook all unlucky to miss out but are the future of our international game.
