| Quote ="gutterfax"Firstly, Progress has been made everywhere except on the gate. If you have read any of the 1,000,000+ posts I have made on the subject, you will be hard pressed to find any where I defend out crowds.....but it makes you feel better by deflecting attention away from your own short comings....and helps you forget your just a team full of Aussies
Secondly, with regard to travelling fans to south wales.......What happened last year? Was the game played on Dole day?
2009
Crusaders v HKR.....attendance 3,015
Crusaders v Quins RL ..attendance 3,009
so......6 more people rolled up to watch the mighty HKR
Mate, if you're going to throw stones, step out of the gereenhouse first........'"
Nah not a team full of Aussies, sure we've got a few but we're only in our 4th season in SL, and we've achieved what we have so far off our own back, without RFL help/handouts/bail-outs. No Quins fan can ever have a go at another club for having a few Aussies, you guys were famous for having a near full squad of Aussies in the 90's.
Those facts show nowt really - Crusaders crowds will fluctuate likes most teams' do. We have one of the best travelling support in SL, for examples we took 3x more to Cas for an SL league game then Broncos took to a major semi final.
You really don't have an arguement G.
Quins for Championship 2012.

I doubt you will be able to, but I can show you links to the rules on overseas players....a rule that your club are getting 'special' treatment on
30 years of development and we have a british team.....125 years of development and you are a team full of aussies.....sorry to repeat it, but it is funny

FFS are you taking the ?
The entire reason you got in SL in the first place was preferential treatment - you did nothing to deserve a place, was way behind Keighley in terms of playing staff and achievements. You then had a squad full of Aussies to help you help in the early days of SL.
Away support should count for a lot IMO. Quins contribute f'all to SL, inc other clubs' revenue, whereas we have a great away following.
IMO it absolutely stinks the way Fulham/London Crusaders/Broncos/Quins have had chance after chance to succeed - it does not work!!!!
No-one cares about RL in London. Rovers have proved so many people like yourself wrong the last few years, your natural level is Championship and you know it.

Whilst you are entitled to your opinion, it is a relief that you don't work for the RFL.....because although you would probably have an M62 Superleague, you wouldn't have any SKY money and without any SKY money you would have no chance of survival. Your club, as successful as it is, would be bu99ered without the 1.2 mil you get a year.....and have no doubt (look at your pre SL attendances), your crowds within 2 years would be skolaresque in numbers
Principles are one of the most expensive things to have....and clubs like yours deffinitely can't afford them. FC on the other hand are a proper club....making money and therefore, they can afford them

FC's business has benefitted from our inclusion in SL, so...
Are you saying Sky will only stay on board if Quins are kept in? If so we're all in serious trouble. Found from my trip to London that there just is not the interest there, never has been, never will be.
In Hull on the other hand there were thousands of disillusioned fans waiting to return, and have returned to both clubs, so that now the two clubs are well supported and the future is bright for RL in the city of Hull.
London? I just don't get it.

2 things.
Firstly...what happened to your priciples You actually went to a game at Quins Well done and if we ever meet, I owe you a large beer
Next up......never has been never will be.......big statement that. Got anything to back it up with other than attendances?
I'd say this didn't exist 15 years ago......

I'd say you would struggle to have found 1 school in the SE playing competitive RL....The top of this page would point towards schools rl being pretty healthy in the SE
[urlhttp://www.londonrl.co.uk/play/schools-rugby-league[/url
[urlhttp://www.londonrl.co.uk/events/details/27-etfs-city-touch-tournament[/url...BLOODY HELL. tHERE EVEN PLAYING TOUCH IN THE SQUARE MILE ....still, theres no interest, is there
Sweeping statements like yours above just show you up as being anti-expansion.....nothing more, nothing less. RL in London has grown rapidly and would not have done so with out a SL team. BSkyB have a different reason for wanting London at the top table...ad revenue, whilst the RFL see the longer game and development of the area as key in the next stages of developing the sport internationally........but both organisations, for different reasons, want London in SL.
Still....if you hark back to the stone age of RL pre BSkyB...then be very careful what you wish for!

Nah still not been to the Stoop since '98, I went to London last month to see Green Day at Wembley Stadium.
The thing I don't understand is - when most kids take up a sport (such as football, RL, RU, ice hockey, etc), you would assume that most, or at least many, of them would then naturally find they develop an interest in their local team (was the case personally when I started playing RL). Therefore, if the city of London has develop a strong number of kids playing the game, why have so very few of these developed an interest in Fulham/Crusaders/Broncos/Quins over the years
I don't see what Sky/RFL gains from having you guys in SL - more satelite dishes? Can't see it personally.
If the RFL refuse to admit defeat and you manage to get another license then fair play, just hope it's not at the expense of a traditional, real club up norf.

| 1122 is not the disaster it could have been but certainly is embarrassing.
Why oh why when the original game was off could they not have played it in Wrexham this weekend and made it £5 a ticket? Noone else in Superleague is playing except the semi finalists. They could have billed it as the Crusaders "Big one" with a chance to crack the Top 8. I'd have gone and I do think it would have pulled a hell of a lot more than 1122 and made more money! They could even have done a double promo with this game and the Wales v Italy game in October. Another game which will struggle to pull a decent crowd.

| One of the conditions of the club being bought was that they would play two games at Neath this year. The Quins game (originally scheduled for much earlier in the year, you'll recall) was one of those.
