| I'm not a POM basher but
There is no way either of the fights you go on about any of the Aussie get owned by the POMS.
Mason Fight
Mason KO's Fieldon
Burrow the speed bump pushed away
The the fight between Mason and Peacock... starts off, Peacock does get a good one on Mason, but the real reason mason goes down is he's collected by the rest of the pack coming in.
All a myth

| The Aussies are basically house's. They always get the first cheap-shot in and then end up getting leathered. I remember Gordon Tallis throwing yet another, in this case several, Aussie cheap-shots at Terry O'Connor. O'Connor took it in his stride and threw one good shot at Tallis that split his beak open for him.
Terry said after being thumped by Tallis [i"that his grandmother hit harder"[/i.
Remember the Jason Stevens incident (another over-blown Aussie house) when he stamped on O'Connor's face?
The Aussie media said of stevens: "He scared the Poms pretty good".
O'Connor beged to differ on that point. "He didn't even spoil my good looks,'' he said.
Yes, the Aussie's like to start it, but they can't finish it. So bring it on!
It's just a pity that we can't beat them at rugby.

Its' peacock and mason mano e mano and Mason goes down. Everyone jumps in [iafter[/i peacock has floored mason. Aussie no 5 jumps on Peacocks back and Senior piles on.
There is NOBODY ELSE involved in the Peacock Mason melee before Mason hits the floor.

No, he clearly knocked him on his . Then the rest of the team got there as he was on his way down. He didn't trip or get pulled down by his own team mates. Why would that help? He was knocked down by Peacock. The Aussies are in complete denial here. Brilliant!

to me that was never the important part,
the fact Masons only meaningful contribtution for the rest of the game was a typically cowardly elbow on Long, whereas Peacock led his side to victory, against the ockers, in Sydney, shows me who won that fight and quite convincingly

Peacock cleans out Perry with a lovely tackle. There's some pushing and shoving and Peacock goes for Perry. Perry bends his head and nearly adopts the foetal position. When his team mate (No 6) hold peacock Perry decides to throw a few punches which do not deter Peacock in the slightest.

This reminds me of a Bill Hicks bit...
Quote While I was in England, I got to see footage of the Rodney King trial that I was never able to see over here. I think I figured out why the LA riots occurred. Did you guys see these cops testifying? Did these guys have balls or what?
They carry their balls in a wheelbarrow. "'Cuse me, 'cuse me, man with big balls coming through. Man with big balls is here to testify." "Please place your right testicle on the bible." BOOOM.
This guy, Officer Coon ā¦ is life too ing weird or what? Officer Coon actually look into the camera and says: "Yeah, that Rodney King beating tape, it's all in how you look at it." The courtroom murmurs: "Jesus, what balls." ā¦ "Really? How would you look at it, Officer Coon?" "Well, if you play it backwards, you see us pick King up and helping him on his way."'"

To be fair, Perry got in a good shot even before his teammate jumps in so that's not strictly true. In fact, he got more in than Peacock (that actually connect). Peacock just goes on for longer to make up the difference (even with everyone holding him back!) which is fair play!
Never give up, Jamie! (I suppose with a face like that, it's one less thing for him to worry about than most!)

Dont you just love barrie mac there!!! The aussie is in the foetal position 5h1tting himself completely bricking it and big barries about to reign down some more terror on him!!!
at the 'mason slipped' rubbish as well.....convicts cant hack getting beat at anything, there's always an excuse!!'"
Foetal position? Is it?
Whats your excuse for England / GB being ranked fourth in the World and winning nothing against Australia for many decades?
Look at how desperate you are in picking a player already left the game and going to the other code? (and he is not a )
Hes e anyway why would you bother.
They nearly brought Baldy out of retirement because he is still the best English , what does that say about nothing coming through?
Name 4 English s that are Test quality?
4 Wingers?
2 Fullbacks?
Your Halfback is a rookie with hardly any experience and out of position.
Peacock and Morley are on the way down. Burgess the great hope has had a year in SL.
Keep dreaming.
Your best bet is the same as last year and become honorary Kiwis for the Final and live out your hopes through them.

| Bring Edwards home?
He was the most over hyped player at Test level there ever was.
He made his mark at Balmain as well played 7 out of 12 games off the bench including his last 6 games.

If Edwards comes home it would be as a coach, so what has his playing career got to do with anything?
He's making a pretty good fist of onion and their is no doubting his pride and passion - something that England need.
