Willie Mason is a coward, pure and simple, a Sean Long elbow to the head after a kick, a shot on Fielden when his hands were down then being on his knees begging JP to leave him alone is Masons only meaningful contribution to international RL,

oh and dont let me forget being owned by that player who ripped up superleague (sorry i mean barely made an impact for a mid table side) David Kidwell, after he riled up the Kiwis

I made a perfectly reasonable post about why Willy Mason would not hack it in this country - HIS TEMPERAMENT.

Ellis. Only signed by an NRL club as part of the NRL's idea to promote the game in developing countries where RL needs a helping hand. A terrible player on arrval at the Tigers, got slightly better when coached but still a long way off the mark.


Moreley. A revelation on his arrival at the chooks but despite being coached CORRECTLY could never learn to keep his high shots down and consequently got injured/disciplined more often than he played and was quite rightly asked to leave the Roosters.

This is where the English coaches fall down in SL. Matt King is a prime example. World beater in Oz - expensive flop in England. It's the coaching isn't it?

He stuffed his shoulder from what I can remember and was not really up to NRL standards anymore.

I genuinely thought he had quit.

Who does he play for?

Mason is 5hite full stop, that's why even the poorest team in the NRL want rid and no one else will touch him with a barge pole!

He has never got over being handed his ar5e by an over the hill Kiwi!

Let me educate you on a few things about Matty King my good man.

Matt King pretty much was stuffed mentally when he copped a terrible shoulder injury back in Australia....in fact it was so bad he quit footy for a while. He decided to give it another go a few years later and asked my team Cronulla Sharks to take him on but he never even made it out of the reserve grade as he was scared of damaging his shoulder again.

He originally came from a town up on the North coast of NSW and was never really keen on Sydney having always preferred Brissy so he decided to try his luck up there ...joining an amateur side that luckily for him just happened to be one of Storms feeder clubs. He impressed the Storm coaching staff and was given a chance back in the NRL and was a pretty good player.

Sadly for Matty he got into a few disciplinary problems and also started to refuse to carry out certain tasks at training with the Storm as he thought CB's coaching could injure his shoulder (which he had told the coaching staff was hurting him again) There were also a few issues with a couple of other storm players that its probably best we call 'differences of opinion'

I do know he wanted to move to England as the game is far easier over here and the pay is better.

I wasn't aware anyone had come in for him though. I thought he had retired.
