An amateur Rugby League side from Leeds.

Currently top of the premier division in the Yorkshire league.

Widnes v Normanton a couple of years ago, about a dozen drunks started causing trouble at the front of the North stand. To be fair to the Normanton players they came over and tried to calm the fans down. It would have only taken one Widnes fan to have a go back and it would have kicked off.

Yeah win it every year since Sharlston and Drighlington defected to the Pennine League (and Queens weren't allowed to follow), but don't meet NCL criteria so won't get in (understandably after this), even though they could easily beat the vast majority of sides there on the pitch

That would be nearer the mark but the relevance of this in a structured Rugby League coaching session (especially carried out in a changing room and not a ring) is...what?

Quite so, but what is shown in the clip is nothing to do with and has no value to the game of Rugby League.

Again, if that was part of a Rugby League coaching session then the coach should be banned.

I'm very well aware of what it is, though what place it has in junior amateur rl is beyond me.

Thugs, played against their junior teams and their players in Leeds Service Area. The dirtiest team you can wish to play against at any level. I know one of the team I played against has now become a regular in SL. I dare say if a few more had the right attitude to go with their skill, they could have joined him.

I don't know everyone seems to be a willing participant at it does have a air of bonding about it. No idea why they felt it was necessary put it on Pubetube though, someone suggested earlier that it might be to intimidate opponents to be be honest if I was playing against them I'd find it amusing they need to do this.

I don't have a problem with a sparring session if the players want that.

Normally in boxing opponents are of similar weight and build

In the youtube session it looked like props verses scrum halfs

Was this an evening kick off? I always find at Super League level that trouble offer occurs for Saturday 6pm kick offs. Especially on terraces where fans mix. It's always fueled by an all day drinking session. Don't think its a rugby league problem as such more a society problem in general.

no it was a 3pm kick off, but the Queens lot were extremely tanked up.

It seems their Under 18s sides game yesterday was also abandoned due to a mass brawl
