Pretty much every scrum these days results in a forward taking the ball up as first receiver.

I'd much rather see a tap and get on with it, much better innovation than this double try crap

Dunno about over there but in the UK there's never 6 forwards in the scrum, very very rare.
Might be different in aus but have a think, work it out, get back to me

The first receiver generally is a back.

In the uk there's an obsession with replacing backrowers with your full back or other small bloke. Then getting your second rower to take the first drive.
It makes sense to a point, especially in defence
Not seen many moves off scrums for a while

Well I'm convinced.

Let's introduce a dozen re-sets per scrum so the union trolls feel better...

I'd rather have a tap or turnover tbh, quicker and keeps the action flowing. Maybe have a 'scrum' for touch but for forward passes or knock ons i'd rather see a quicker restart
