I take most of your points on bored but I haven't heard from any one that has been that hasn't had a good time me included.

I beleave and I have no figers to back this up but seems each year there has been more ppl going (don't know if this is more ppl going or more ppl sticking around for all the matchs).

On that point Manchester is better compared with Cardiff as in Cardiff you are so close to the city it was so easy to watch your game then in stadium then go in town and watch other games in pub. This leaving the stadium looking and feeling empty.

I have enjoyed every one iv been to and am going this year looking forward to it a lot!

Tbf even if I agreed with it I'd rather spend the cash doing something with a more 'once-in-a-lifetime' feeling, eg attend a Wales RU match or Celtic game.

I respect that totally Tommy, and of course I hope you and all other RL fans have a great time, it's just not my cup of tea though personally. Re crowds though I'm sure from what I read the total attendances for Edinburgh and Cardiff were quite similar to Manchester, so you must surely wonder why they just gave up on those potential new areas?
Did anyone here stay over close to the stadium? If so what's the accommodation like please?

Look on the bright side it's not as much a complete waste as the proposed Championship one starting next season. Although on the bright side, it's in that exotic seaside resort of Blackpool............ so there will, of course, be no 'popped' up fans ruining the games, inside, and holidays, outside, the stadium.

I would say Leeds/Wigan and Hull/KR are two biggest sellers of the weekend. Also very easy for all
Salford fans to get to so should be decent following from them, as with Widnes. Any extras from London/Cats are a bonus.

Second day, Wakefield/Cas should ok. Both bring ok followings. As do Bradford-Hudds. Saints/Wire will be decent but there is no "huge game" if Wigan/Leeds or Hull/KR replaces Wire/Saints as the main event the attendances would be more even.

I don't think anywhere near as many supporters will go for the weekend as did at Cardiff so a drop off for Sunday is understandable.

Saturday should be a cracking days entertainment and a good atmosphere with that sort of crowd on.

The fact it's not bank holiday weekend suggested that the Sunday crowd was always going to struggle. Big group of us usually do both days but just have Saturday tickets this time. Probably would've done the full weekend if Wigan Leeds was the Sunday though.

Seen on Facebook that they've had the players handing out free Ice Creams in Picadilly Square in Manchester today, good marketing. They've made a much better effort to get the locals to go this year.

Sunday was always going to suffer. Had it been 2007, then Bradford would have brought a huge number, but 7 years later and they would struggle to sell out their own ground for a local derby with Leeds.

There is going to be a heavy reliance on Saints and Wire speccies and any one who wants to do the two days this weekend.

Sunday is an absolute ball-ache for anyone doing public transport and trying to get home after the last game. We legged it from the Etihad after the last game to Piccadilly for the last train, joined a massive scrum at the top of the platform with the police basically telling everyone that the last train was full and to make your own way home. We managed to get past him and squashed on, but a lot of people were stranded.

Viewing figures should also be up as the saturday games are on freeview.

I that happens again I'm pretty sure the TOC have a duty to get you home if you have purchased a ticket.

A couple of years ago I got the train over to Bradford when I was still at uni and coming back signal problems would have meant me missing the last train to Hull, so the Station Manager put me in a taxi to Leeds paid for by Northern Rail.
