Carvell on Backchat last night suggested some clubs are struggling already. Some players are on 'pay as you play' who won't get paid. Difficult times.

Seems inevitable considering how many muppets (across all age groups from the teenagers heading straight to the pub when college ended yesterday to the 70 year olds on my allotment site who are still gathering for a cuppa in a shed) appear to think that 'social distancing' doesn't apply to them or don't understand what it means.

Googled, not one article saying they are chosing who dies, the articles that are linked are The Grundy, The Lefty (or the indy to those who find it credible). And the BBC who haven't accepted the General Election or Brexit outcome yet.

I wouldn’t have put it like that but it’s just a form of words (journalists have got to eat like the rest of us) - if you look beyond the headlines and actually read the articles and eye witness accounts you’ll understand it isn’t far off. ICUs are full to the brim so they are unable to treat every patient who requires intensive care properly. That’s part of the reason why the death count is shooting up.

Exactly this, last September pre corona virus I fell ill with bilateral pneumonia that's in both lungs and called double pneumonia to me and thee, also severe respiratory problems and a heart problem which caused a lot of concern to the critical care consultant in the ICU, due to the pressure on the NHS with the shortage of beds it's his decision which is final, as I was told by a doctor in the ICU that if the consultant did not think he could have saved me he would not have found a bed in there for me, so I can imagine the pressure these people are under now with this virus as to who gets priority.

Event though he is right ?

When the BBC leads with a feature about talking to your loved ones about dying is that scaremongering or being pragmatic.
