| If Wigin could play Wakey every week they would be the best in the world, from what I've seen Wigin just over Warrington.

Cas last season maybe but we've been rather dull this year - last night's game was one of the most tediously boring I've ever watched, despite the 4-point win.
I'd have to agree with Warrington and Wigan though - both quality sides to watch on their day this season.

I'd say Wire in that category.
As for attack, I quite like Crusaders.

| Warrington have been the stand-out side to watch this year. They deserve a lot of credit as it seems more and more sides are reverting to negative 'one-up' rugby. I hoped licences would see teams encouraged to throw the ball around a bit and take a few more risks but it doesn't seem to be working out like that.
Nice to see that the better footballing sides tend to be the ones closer to the top of the table, and those lower down who do have generally surpassed expectations (eg Crusaders).

While wires defence is well organised which is typical of a TS side, their technique along with everyone else in the league is behind Wigan.

| I think Warrington are quite enjoyable to watch this year.
A team who have always been good to watch but suprised to see them mentioned this year is St Helens.
Whenever I've watched this year it seems like the vast majority of their tries are from no more than 20 yards out from the line. Don't get me wrong, they may have done well physically do force errors/gain penalties to get in that position but it's not exactly ''entertaining'' & they don't seem to be as dangerous when attacking from their own half.
Regardless of how much they deem him as a ''legend'' and the points that may be put on the scoreboard, there is only so many of attempted quarter-of-a-yard-Cunningham-splodge's I'm sure Saints supporters can take.

I agree with that. You also see alot of short passes to forward in front of the sticks of Pulutua steamrollers.

Indeed, I hear Gleeson's effort on Lee Smith in the CC was exemplary.

What nonsense!
If your technique is better, why have you conceded more tries?

I don't think tackling TECHNIQUE has as much to do with scoring a try as a teams defencive STRUCTURE.

The point of the defence is to keep the opposition from scoring. You can bleat about technique all you want, but it's all useless if you don't back it up with structure. Good defence requires both things, not one or the other.
The fact is that Wigan don't do anything different than many teams, they just do it better than most. Warrington's defence is as good as Wigan's no problem. Just like you we dominate most tackles.
You enjoy watching the Wigan defence, well we (Wire fans) enjoy watching the Wire defence.

| Apart from Eastmonds individual brilliance at times, Saints arn't that entertaining anymore, they have a severe lack of pace.
From the top 8 i'd say Wire play some entertaining off the cuff RL, without looking at stats i'd say they would be at the top of the offloads charts.
Out of the rest I think Quins play some really exciting attacking rugby at times. When they played us at Robin Park they were awesome in attack, absolutely everything stuck that night!

We play plenty of exciting stuff in our own half, but we don't have the pace in the backs to finish them off, but that doesn't mean we don't play exciting rugby. Its not all about scoring 100 metre trys, we play exciting rugby to make the break to get us in the position which leads to the trys. Just because the final play the ball before the try is 20 metres out means nothing.

Why exactly are you complaining then.
It's not like we don't have structure but the technique in the tackle is almost perfected, I would'nt say we don't back it up with structure.
You are twisting my words as if I was trying to make out you can have 'one without the other'.
